The theme for the 2019 Diocese of Arlington Women's Conference was "Miracles Do Happen." The sold-out annual women’s conference at St. Joseph Church in Herndon featured Poor Clare Sister Briege McKenna; Congregation of Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception Father Donald Calloway; and Mass celebrated by Bishop Michael F. Burbidge March 2.
Father Don shared the story of his conversion to a Catholic priest from an angry, drug-addicted teen.
Father Don was rebellious when he was younger. He was into drugs, the Grateful Dead band and wanted nothing to do with the church. His mother prayed and prayed. One night after declining to go out with his friends, he took up the book, The Queen of Peace Visits Medjugorje, and it changed his life. He converted to Catholicism, eventually becoming a priest, and is the author of No Turning Back and other devotional books.

Wow. Great Story. I am so happy to have finally found the Catholic Church and the truth. This is after a lifetime of being loosely associated with the Episcopal Church with it's wild liberal changes, like homosexuality is no longer a sin kind of stuff, and is definitely not the same church my parents used to take us to anymore.

Father, this talk was one of the most moving experiences I have had in a very long time (I am 74). I teared up when you described your experience in the Naval Base Catholic Church. I see that the Philippine ladies are a blessing - angels sent to Coach & guide at critical times. Your reactions were moving & powerful. I know you were humorous, but for me EVERY WORD of your description hit hard! Bless you, I am on the devotional journey with Mary & shortly with Joseph. The truth is I have a copy of your devotional to St Joseph - but treated it ambivalently. Your video was placed directly in my life (during my devotion to the Blessed Mother) to awaken me to my need for both devotions. I will soon be in devotion to St Joseph - expressly because of you. Thank you & bless you & your holy orders and work!

Joseph, the next great human after Mary!?!?!? Hmh, I thought God was no respecter of person? The Bible does tell us who to follow, and every Catholic and most protestants don't and don't even know or they wouldn't do what they do! 1 Corinthians 4:15-17 15 For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. 16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. 17 For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church. 1 Corinthians 11:1-3 11 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. 2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you. 3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. Hmh, In the first verse he calls it "MY WAYS", is Paul arrogant or the writer of Holy Scripture (Holy Spirit), wants to distinguish between the ministry of Paul and the ministry of the 12 Apostles! How many times is OUR APOSTLE referring to "Mary"? Do I put Paul on a pedestal? No I simply follow the teaching of a man, who received his instruction by revelation from the risen Christ! He was the last one to speak to Christ in the Holy scripture! So why is the RCC getting its instruction from the 12, meant for the New covenant Israel, and totally ignoring Paul (They do read his letters in the first second readings, without understanding, because their main focus is on the 4 Gospels!) Galatians 1:11-13 11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Addiction comes in many forms, to "miracles as lying wonders" is one of them! God Bless All!

🇺🇸Gray Mountain A Novel By John My commentaries continued The town of Brady is a dangerous place. It is a small, isolated, inbred village, far from the shohisticared New York Metropolis in every way. The town thrives on doom and Clandestine activity, mayhem, subversive activity, secracy and vice. The village really has no assets only liabilities. Samantha arrives there with the idealistic point of view that she with her high level skills, abilities and talents, can be an asset to the village. But the only thing that these people see or feel is embarrassment, and a threat to their way of life, pathetic as it is. Yes Brady is a pathetic little village, populated only by pathetic people. You could call Brady "The Pathetic Village of the Damned", Every character is twice as pathetic as the past. Every Legal Clinic Case is pathetic. Poor pathetic Samantha, couldn't see the forest for the trees, Samantha lost the game in Brady village the minute she slept with Jeff. It was an irreconcilable, irretrievable mistake. Time to leave town. Let's begin conducting our investigation at the beginning and chronologically work our way to the end. Chapter 1, chapter 2, and chapter 3 describe the unexpected, sudden and massive economic melt down disaster and career reversals in the New York Metropolis. For now I will by pass these miseries. It's melting down now, but it will start to rise again before the end of the novel. We meet Samantha's dad Marshal a brilliant, seasoned wealthy attorney on page 19, 20 founder of The Kofer Group a Washington DC Firm. On page 22, Mattie Wyatt and the Mountain Legal Clinic in Brady, Virginia is mentioned on page 25. On page 22 Marshall gives the thumbs down to the furlough and non-profit internship. "It smells." He said. You don't really trust those guys do you?" Samantha has a deep-seated, bigoted prejudice towards her father and his firm because he and all of his partners are convicted, sentenced, disbarred, and incarcerated and rehabilitated. She can't see herself working for a firm of disbarred lawyers. She snubs her father and scorns him. Samantha will have plenty of time to regret it and the the day she turned her back on him and walked away, straight into disaster. I would diagnose Samantha and personality disordered and spoiled rotten by her parents. Haughty. High-minded. Condescending. Marshall's instincts are dead right. This furlough is a sinkhole. In the end it proves to be "quick sand". And once in she became more and more incapacitated and unable to extract herself. Samantha should have listened to her father. He was trying his best to protect her. He knows men. Samantha know anything the types of psychotic, mentally defective, deviant, sleazy, criminal, underworld people that she will be associating herself with. Far worse that her dad's crowd by far. Poor thing. Poor thing. She thinks her father and his colleagues are trash. Chapter 4 Samantha has a pleasant telephone conversation with Mattie Wyatt, director of the Mountain Legal Clinic and arranges to drive from affluent suburban Washington DC , 300 miles and a century in time to Brady Virginia. "The Mountain Legal Aid Clinic ran its low-budget operations from an abandoned hardware store on Main Street, in Brady, Virginia, population twenty-two hundred and declining." "Mattie Wyatt had been the clinic's executive director from the day she founded the organization twenty-six years earlier" Question. How do you found an organization like this one and sustain it, keep it going, and prospering, and flourishing, successful, respected, and fully funded for twenty-six years? Tell me how. I need to know. Ms. Wyatt insists on being on a first name basis. They agree to meet around 4:00pm the next day for the job interview. Q. Why did Samantha go alone? Why didn't Samantha have one of her friends or associates to drive travel with her just in case something happens? Q. She checked for the website of the legal clinic only. Why didn't she check the website for information about the town of Brady, Virginia? Why didn't she check the website for the State of Virginia? Why didn't she check the geographic area? Why didn't she check the history of the town and all its troubles with the coal companies? Why she check the news papers to see what is going on there now? Why didn't she make reservations before leaving Washington DC so that she would have accommodations? She left town going to a strange place, where did not know anyone, and knew virtually nothing about the place. Why didn't she do a background check on the clinic, and the history? She took no precautions? She was over confident? She was idealistic? She was inexperienced and naive? She was presuming? She assumed that she would be safe? She took it for granted that people are basically decent? She took it for granted that bad things don't happen to good people? This is the United States. Karen Meets with her mother Karen Samantha talks about the panic in New York. Calls it "the real world". Samantha doesn't know it, but she has never even seen the real world. Just wait untill she gets to Brady. At least the world that she was in is above the gutter, above the sewer. The world that her father offered her is not perfect but it is above definitely above the gutter and above the sewer, and outside of the cesspool of poverty. Now she goes to Brady settles for all of that trash. Samantha's mother also expresses grave doubts about this venture. "Samantha, I think you are making a mistake." Warning. Red lights flashing all over the place."I just don't like the sound of it." Says, Karen, her mother. They talk about women being jilted by the men they love, and women disposable and expendable. They talk about Marshal dumping Karen his wife for a young paralegal who worked for him. They talked about his pleading guilty and spending time in prison for financial crimes. They talk about Samantha's inexperience with bad men. That is about to change. Samantha's mother withdraws permission to borrow her car to drive to Brady for the interview. Samantha, determined to disobey both parents, and ignore their clear warnings, decides to rent a car and head for Brady. Samantha rents a car. Samantha hears more disaster tidings from New York. She calls her dad, he continues to express fears this time her "rushing into a meaningless internship deep in "the third world." " You are making a mistake Sam". Marshal says. He has probably done some investigation and know what he is talking about. Samantha says, "I don't need your advice. Dad " "Perhaps you need my advice. Please listen to someone with some sense." "Good-bye Dad." Fate sealed. End of commentary on chapter 4. On to Chapter 5

it's clear A. LETTER TO TIMOTHY 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus! Mattew 24:36 36 “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. Mattew 23:8-10 8 But be not ye called teachers. for one is your Teacher, even Christ. 9 You are all brothers. And call no man father (Spiritual)upon the earth. for one is Father, which is in heaven.10 And be not ye called masters. for one is your Master, even Christ.... “YOU must not let people call you ‘leaders’-you have only one leader, Christ!” (Matthew 23:10, The New Testament) With these words, Jesus made it plain to his followers that no man on earth would be their leader. Their one Leader would be heavenly-Jesus Christ himself. Jesus holds this position by divine appointment.. Jehovah “raised him up from the dead and . . . made him head over all things to the congregation, which is his body.”-Ephesians 1:20-23. 2 Since Christ is “head over all things” with regard to the Christian congregation, he exercises his authority over all that takes place within the congregation. Nothing that occurs within the congregation escapes his notice. He closely observes the spiritual condition of each group of Christians, or congregation. This is clearly apparent in the revelation given to the apostle John at the end of the first century C.E. To seven congregations, Jesus stated five times that he knew their deeds, their strong points, and their weaknesses, and he gave counsel and encouragement accordingly. (Revelation 2:2, 9, 13, 19; 3:1,8,15,17) There is every reason to believe that Christ was equally familiar with the spiritual condition of other congregations in Asia Minor, Palestine, Syria, Babylonia, Greece, Italy, and elsewhere. (Acts 1:8) What of today? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Oo9ytCWBYSw.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-K98ziVX7AHo.html
