Thank you for sharing this inspirational recording of Fr. DePauw celebrating Holy Mass at the Ave Maria Chapel in Westbury, NY. I received First Holy Communion at the Ave Maria Chapel in 1969 and Confirmation in 1971 (I think it was Bishop Kurz who confirmed me) Seeing this Holy Mass brings back fond memories. My Grandfather and Grandmother made the 1 hour drive each Sunday morning from New Rochelle, NY out to Westbury. After Mass we went down to the basement of the Chapel where they served coffee and donuts. May God Bless the soul of Fr. DePauw. Grandma and Grandpa -- thank you both for taking me to Ave Maria Chapel each week where the foundation of my Catholic faith was built.
This is not the "Old Mass" but the unchanged, perpetual tradition given to us to be custodians and, more importantly, active participants in till the end of time. Educate yourself on this beautiful sacrifice as if the previous generation would have known what they were giving up they would have defended it and stood outside the churches till they threw the tables away and reinstalled the communion rails. We must live our beautiful, full Catholic life and not make it a visitation once a week.
You are exactly right. It is sad how there are those who do not understand the difference, or realize what a great gift the Mass is. The truth stands for itself, but it is our job as Catholics to defend the unchangeable God-given truth. Father DePauw is an example of someone who did exactly that.
Ahhhhh, the the good ol’ days when the traditional Roman Catholic Mass (Tridentine) was held in various places so people could do their Sunday obligation in the right manner (and I’m thankful for this). I enjoyed watching this.
I hold the hem of the chasuble ONLY when the elevates the Sacred Species. In the old days, the chasubles where heavy, decorated with precious stones and all, and this was to help the priest when he extends his hands up.

sunday 8 august 2021 i dont know why towers of trent trophies hall of fame dont have any videos/ it would help make tradition far better known and faithful priests like gommar de pauw/ so i hope someone sees this and can help
We have the true tridentine traditional Mass each day here at MSM Spokane, Wa. as well as in Idaho, MIQ parish. Long live Christ the King and His One Holy and Apostolic Church.....not the fake church of the novus ordo.

(He doesn’t mention any name too) that’s enough to know that Father De Pauw probably preferred not to mention heretics into the Canon of the Mass as it could become sacrilegious

@@rscottlogan9471 The power of the keys does not give the Pope the right to change the Deposit of Faith. The Oath the Pope takes confirms this fact. Pope Pius V's Encyclical Quo Primum could not be more forceful or clear in the words used to protect the Tridentine Mass "in perpetuity."

No such thing as a novus ordo mass, call it what you will, it is not a 'mass'. If it was, it would be the same as the Latin Tridentine Mass and the true Mass (Latin Tridentine Mass) would be unnecessary.
