This is seriously one of my favorite videos on the internet. The tones that this machine can make along with Rocco's skill is a match made in heaven! I've always been a fan of Fractal's gear. It's a shame they can't keep up with demand right now. I think I really want the FM3 and added myself to the wait list.
@@StayHomeEatGreat Hi Steve. It might be lacking CPU power depending on your needs. I'm mostly using it for live work and while there is a learning curve, I'm getting excellent results. I'm very happy right now!
Thank God the ax8 sounds great. You did a fantastic job with this. Guitar in tune check, levels are good check, ideas organized well and no stupid noodling check. Two thumbs up!
Thanx for taking the time to share the sounds on this unit, been interested in this unit for a while looks like I will be getting one after watching your video...
Hi Rocco (where ever you are on the planet), I kind of forgot how much I love all those tunes you played for the demo and you played them really well, such a fine guitarist. Now I really want to look into one of those Fractals. Keep up the great playing!!!
Porca eva! :)
I like your use of chorus + enhance to a similar effect as pitch detune with a simpler layout. I've always wanted chorus and pitch on the same patches without using up all the DSP. Totally stealing that!
Choice 👌. I’m definitely debating if the Boss GT-1000 can really deliver compatible tones, Ax8 really sounded great on the friedman amps. I’m going to give the GT-1000 a few more days of review but the authenticity of that breakup was impressive definitely next level tone Top Shelf👌
@@BluesGetOrigin no I picked up a boss katana artist instead pretty much the same minus a things but you gain the new age speaker that you really need to take advantage of the new dist and to be able to get those new sounds especially if you’re tuning below 440
@@BluesGetOrigin no i got the artist kantana the pedal can’t mess with katana artist plus u will need that new speaker to handle the hot channels i have a channel so hot i have to keep it at .05 on the watts because it’s crunch will bottom out speaker but perfect for recording at low levels for high level you should go after the boss half stack with the new speakers and that boss head thats solid state it’s not the katana its the other 1 it’s like a 1500 head but it’s got the dist off the new stuff so im sure its going to be 1 of the biggest flame 🔥 throwers on market id say you could go tour with it and play pantera with a little more fire than dimebag had
I am mostly a metal guy..but Daim brother..like your songs and pieces that you chose and the sound is wow....love the billy idol stuff too LOL Dam good job. Just got an ax8..still in the box....I hope a can get some good stuff....thinking using an amp for power amp (fx return in) and cab....but I seem to be thinking most people that do the vids are using direct and cab sims to coputer or fr speakers,,,,u used the ax8 live at all? what is your signal chain for live if u do please?? Keep up that good stuff...and btw..i subscribed to your channel Dood.
Good afternoon. What is the best way to get the AX8 sound reference? I've seen that we can link it straight online or loop and turn on the Amp return. But how do you know what his sound really is? It has no headphone output. The best way would be to connect it to an audio interface and listen for the headset interface? Would this be the pure sound of the AX8?
