This truly is an all encompassing tutorial..while the game is broadly simple to understand how to play there are various minute details that you can easily overlook by accident. However in this video I felt you managed to capture the finer details very aptly. Thank you for creating this

@@ezbgames Never heard of Nataterra. HoM&M has been a back an forth for me in regard to should or shouldn't I back it. Ultimately I decided against it. There is a lot of nostalgia with the original games but the board game on its own just couldn't convince me. 2024 is going to be a fantastic year, should the shipping routes not collapse. Andromeda's Edge, Primal, Spark Riders 3000, Dungeons Degenerates, Earth Under Siege: Flashpoint and so on.
Nataterra is a new peoject that will hit KS somewhere in 2024. I got a prototype from the creator so I'm very excited introducing it to the community.. I hear you for HoMM, but I broke down with the nostalgia lol I just try not to have a lot or expectations so I won't be super disappointed, you know? Yeah the current situation in the Suez canal is kind kf critical and if the ships will start circulating Africa that will make shipping costs higher I think, not mentioning the shipping time :/ Andromeda's Edge is another game I've backed and waiting for.. There's also a game called Dominate and Deligate which is a cool take on Command and Conquer. I hooe it will deliver!

I do understand a little bit what people are saying because the rules are not super clear and with heavy gsmes it's very important to have very clear rules. Some things are also not explained well and hard to find a good answer. But this is what I'm here for 😉 I really want to do a solo mode for Fractal! I just have quite a few projects that I have to finish first. But it's definitely on the list! 🤩
Great job... one clarification though, you keep saying the "left-most revealed space" on the tracks. However, I think you mean the "right-most revealed space", right?

Thanks for the comment :) To be honest I usually don't do a how-to-play video and also a playthrough with explanations, but this time I did a playthrough and one of the designers (Bernanrdo Rippe) asked of me to do this one. That's the reason I took it out in this order. Otherwise I totally agree with you and it also makes more sense that way haha
Question: can you use all of the non-elite versions of the tactics card as in play it from the deck. Or do you draw tactics cards into your hand and play it from there, only drawing and refilling your hand at the end of the cycle?
You don't draw the tactic cards. You take all of them into your hand, but you discard all the cards that do not correspond with the units that you have in the contested heaxagon. If you have all the units in an area, you'll keep all the cards in your hand and you will decide which one to play.
@@ezbgames Thanks for the reply! Also, if you cannot play any tactics cards, you instantly lose the battle and your units go MIA. Do they return to the reserve or retreat?
