Grammy Award-winning artist Lecrae knows all too well what it's like to grow up without a father. At the age of one, Lecrae's mother, Toot, escaped the abusive relationship she was in with his dad. For years, she was a single mother struggling to make ends meet. In the United States today, nearly 24 million kids live in a single-parent home. The fracturing of families is personal for Lecrae, and it's one of the world's greatest problems.
