"Fragile Dreams is sublime, chaotic, and ephemeral all at the same time. My initial inspiration stemmed from my captivation of icicle formations on trees during my time at Rochester, NY. I wanted to combine the cold and desolate feeling of winter with the mysteries of the unconscious. The main theme represents a recurring dream that permeates throughout the entire composition. The theme itself is simple and pastoral-like and through this theme I aimed to capture the amorphous qualities I experienced when dreaming; from flying high into the heavens to crashing down into the terrifying depths of sleep paralysis."

Sounds Promising is an apprenticeship program uniquely committed to young musicians’ professional development. The program is designed for young musicians and composers between the ages of 18 and 30.
