I worked for Chanel for 15 years such good memories ... I wore Coco EDP on my wedding day , N19 EDP is my food shopping scent , Christalle EDP I named my daughter after it , Ruby-Christalle N5 I spray on my sheets when I change then and then use the talc thru my sheets , My husband loves it . xxx
Same here! I still have the green silk scarf they gave us one year for Christmas and my son used to love holding it as a baby. I have pictures of him in his little carrier holding onto it:)).
@@mnop1774 that’s so lovely , I still have a real Chanel jacket I was given when I won a award for the account I had . And so many beautiful bags a shoes and jewellery… it’s very different now . I still love the original skincare and teint extreme foundation. Such good formulas
You have a gorgeous collection. I have way too many bottles & organization & storage can be challenging & ever changing - I do like what you’ve done with your trays! I have so many of your favourites & am envious of your Mizensir collection! ❤ I do have a few from the house with my favourite being Perfect Oud. Luxury as well as Poudre D’Or are on my wish list. Thank you and yes, storage is a problem. I would ideally like to get my collection down to one tray but I have too many loves to make that happen anytime soon. Baby steps.

(vintage/designer/niche etc) Wearing & loving perfume since late 80’s/early 90’s. Planning on a big declutter this year. Aiming also to reduce down to 100. 🤔😊 Much love. X

Such a lovely collection! We definitely share the taste in perfumes! Have you sampled Bouquet Idealle, it's my latest addition and I am obsessed with it. I sampled Ivory Route and Mula Mula Extreme and they are now on my wish list too!
Do you ever worry any of these will expire? What’s the shelf life on perfumes that are fresher (no patchouli etc) which apparently helps the longevity? I’m really growing my collection from 5 to 30 in the last year and it’s a constant concern I have that they will expire before I get to use them up 😅
I’ve had some of my Chanel fragrances for many years and they still smell lovely but yes, some will go off and I’ll have to let them go but happy to enjoy them while I can.
Keep them in a dry dark place that is cool. No temptation fluctuations like the bathroom which is the worst spot ever! None of mine have gone off yet and I have 209 bottles and have been collecting for 5 years. I overspray and make sure I use all my perfumes as much as I can. I can always repurchase if I run out.

I've been scared throughout this video because you have been picking the bottles by the cap.. If I try that, I could end up breaking my perfumes.. I only have 12 perfumes and I wish to have such a collection though I know I might never have such.. You have a beautiful collection that most of us wish for.. Stay blessed Laura❤❤
I love Cristalle. There are too many choice nowadays, but I find myself veering toward the OG's. Thank you for going through your collection. I really appreciate your approach. You go deep into the house and start a collection and then move on. On the perfume business side I have to imagine they don't just want random buyers. They want people who are loyal to the brand. There are so many perfumes that use the same name or similar formula. I guess if you're loyal to the brand, whatever notes you fancy, you can probably find it in your preferred brand(s). I find the whole business of perfume to be fascinating. By the way wasn't there a time when women had their own special perfume bottles and those funny sprayers? What happened to that?
Thank you and I can relate. Mine was at 200 during the pandemic and I was feeling anxiety about feeling forced to use them all while neglecting my favorites so I started the monthly trays to focus on the ones I love and whatever doesn’t get picked all year will go…eventually. :)

I have a collection at 200 bottles but every single one of them are niche and were pretty expensive. I only own a handful of basic designers. And then I have a good amount of privee or exclusive collections for luxury designers. I created this is a matter of 3 years. I fell hard for the fragrance scene. And I gotten to a point in life where I had “play” money and so play I did! But now I am very selective of what I add to my collection. It has to stay on my mind for a while for me to go back and purchase it.
i love this collection but you lost me when you called one of the exclusive chanel fragrances “tropical”…. in what world? lmao just goes to show how varied our sniffers can be 😂
