I really enjoyed this first impression, I don't have any Fragrance du boir in my collection but there are some I've smelt that I really liked but the prices are a little out of my budget☺

Thanks sis, I agree, I didn’t realise how pricey some of their fragrances were till I did my research! Grief I was shocked…. I don’t think sadly they warrant the price tag! Just my honest opinion! ❤️❤️🙈

This is white rose that’s why you don’t detect the traditional rose dna .

Yes that could be the reason. It’s not a rose I gravitate towards but I can appreciate it would be lovely to smell on someone else 😊

I agree 💯 Fragrance du boir are indeed mysterious not much about their background or who the owner, maybe I'm not searching properly 😅

Enjoyed this first impression of Siberian Rose. I have it and I don’t get a heavy “rose” scent. I do get the floral aspect but to me, there’s something cold/metallic about it. I do enjoy it. I say maybe try New York 5th Avenue. Thanks for sharing 😊

Hey J, I’ll definitely give that a sniff thanks for the recommendation. I’m sure you carry this off so well, it is very high quality, rose is there but I wish I got more of it! It’s also quite silky, reminds me a little of love don’t be shy extreme 💛

I sampled a few Fragrance Du Bois and wasn't that impressed, though they are pleasant. Their performance wasn't good for me and I think they are overpriced. Moreover their marketing and free bottles to "influencers" turned me off to the brand. Speaking of rose fragrances here are my favorites: Amouage Lyric Man, Amouage Lyric Woman, Portrit of a Lady, Noir de Noir and Cartier Dun Soir.

I agree, one of my dislikes also. The influencer marketing is overkill, there’s a way to gift something tastefully. Haven’t tried Lyric Man or woman but am interested to! Noir de Noir is a classic and Cartier Dun Soir is a gem, there’s a version which was discontinued which I loved! Thank you for sharing your thoughts! 😁

I agree with your thoughts on the brand. For Siberian rose, I get a lot of woods and leather. The white florals also pop. My favourite from the brand is New York 5th Avenue, but it may be too sweet for you. Minut de Demi is a nice wear and Lovers is quite fruity fun. But I wasnt drawn to purchase either. Santal Complet was agreeable for me and I got a decant of it and enjoyed the wear, but i'd only entertain a FB if i found a really good price. Heritage is quite interesting to wear. Super expensive, but super dramatic with the soapy aldehydes. Though im not sure i'd buy it either. For rose, what do you think of MFK Oud Silk Mood Extrait? Still my favourite roes.

Interesting thanks for sharing, I’m interested to try New York 5th Avenue, sounds promising. I’ll explore more, I love Oud mood extrait, I only own the EDP but I’d definitely get it next! Your right a very beautiful rose scent! Thanks for sharing your thoughts…. Also thinking to try Cavort, heard it’s a gem! 😊🌹

Ahhhh interesting I thought so, reminds me a lot of Love don’t be shy extreme, similar vibe but maybe Siberian Rose is a touch less sweet. Thanks Felicity hope your well ❤️
