I absolutely love this video!!!! Im just getting into freshies and I am pretty picky about scents so this is perfect. I love that your husband did this with you as well!! Definitely bring him on the channel more!!! 😍🙌
So glad you liked it! I'm picky about my scents too, so I get it lol. He'll definitely keep doing the scent reviews, I tried to convince him to craft with me for another video but he just gives me the deer in the headlights look 🤣 maybe one day lol 🙏🤞
I really appreciate this video. As someone who wanted to make these for a while and am just now getting into doing it, this was VERY helpful. It not only introduced me to new scents, but it also helped me find another fragrance oil company. Oh! Pink Sands is a Yankee Candle scent. It is a scent I used in my car forever so I loved seeing it in the video and finding it on the companies’ website.
Thank you so much Nicole, you're so sweet! I sure can! Actually, almost all the furniture in our home was redone by yours truly and I love the distressed look- so you're speaking my language! I'll definitely add that to my to-film list for ya!
Enjoyed this review so much. I really like Cool Water. I call it Lodi Dodi when I make it in a freshie, because Snoop Dogg mentions putting it on in the song of the same name. 😂 💜
What kind of glitter do you use with freshies? Do you add it in when you're mixing the mica and FO to the beads? Or add after baking? I've been wanting to use glitter but have not tried it yet.
I use allllllll the glitters 😅 I add some when I'm mixing the beads & sprinkle some more on when I bake. I'll add a glitter frrshie tutorial to my to-film list for ya!
Thanks! & no, paraffin wax beads is what I use to make my regular candles, those would completely melt down in a car. They have to be aroma beads. All the supplies I use are in the video description if you wanna check them out.
I used to think the same thing until I did research prior to making these videos- it's actually been scientifically proven that coffee beans do nothing to cleanse or reset your olfactory palate (sense of smell) and it's just a common misconception. What we did (not on camera) was smell the inside of our elbow in between each scent because that's what was recommended in several articles.
Everywhere really, I'm always trying new oils from different companies but I really like Bulk Apothecary, candle science, the Flaming Candle, Lonestar Candle Supply to name a few.
