It’s about context and if you watch the full episode it makes sense, you’ll also see why Frasier did what he did. The episode is all about losing one’s independence. In Frasier’s case he doesn’t want to be a burden to Freddie in his old age because he feels guilty. I know what dementia is like close hand and I know how cruel it is. I’m glad they did this scene as David Hyde Pearce is a campaigner and researcher for Alzheimer’s, also a tribute to Moose (Eddie) who died of dementia in his old age. If through this they can raise awareness and legislative change then it’s a positive step. Take Nicole’s character, she behaved in an appalling and ignorant way. I have seen that quite a lot, it’s those people like Nicole that need to be educated.
this scene is very similar to that in the original series where frasier was with kirby’s mother (i forget her name), who was an estate agent showing an old couple around a house, and frasier pretends to have learning difficulties.
Ahhh he didn't pretend. The old couple assumed Frasier was a very special guy. He assembled a house or something with ice cream sticks when they walked in
@@kimberlylay1005 I think the attraction or the chemistry between Frasier and Lilith is really amazing and brilliant,Despite the fact that they are separated in the original series, they often end up back together
Honestly I don’t think it’s a laugh track. I have been to tapings of shows a few times (including the original Frasier) and there’s a warm-up person who encourages the audience to give the biggest laughs. They are always like “we wanna hear you!!!”
It has a live-studio just like the original and like Cheers. Watch audience-reaction videos of movies. Americans scream and cheer and whoop at every little thing.
I've tried, I really have but sorry, this is so lame. I've watched all nind episodes and probably laughed out loud twice. It's painful and should either not be commissioned again or a massive rethink before going again. As the original Frasier used to say - 'yee Gods!'
I have lost several relative to it... GET OVER IT! The world does not revolve around you, I can and will ridicule this disease and welcome those who do. I refuse to let it be the gremlin nobody talks about.
Don't listen to this person. They know not that of which they speak. Let them watch wrestling. I'm ready for every episode the new cast makes. Hundreds of peaceful hours spent watching this character. A much beloved friend in the tv. Don't poopoo on others joy. Good day.
Anybody ever noticed there is not one white woman on the cast ? I mean they had Lilith on there for maybe 5 minutes on one episode but not one white woman!! I guess old Kelsey grammer's following orders from the networks.
