Wow Stephanie, thanks so much for sharing all your plans and WIPs! Your 12 days of Christmas plans toward the beginning had me giggling, I wish I had been so creative in letting the numbers inspire which pattern to begin each day in my own stitching, that is brilliant! I love that you have overarching themes for each month. I definitely have projects in mind to join you in the birds, strawberries, and sunflowers months.. and I also have the Dimensions Finery of Nature kit in my to-be-started pile, maybe I will pick it up this spring! Happy Stitching 💕
Thank you so much for stopping by! I’m glad you enjoyed my 12 Days of Christmas…some of those were quite the stretch haha. I’d love to have you join me for some of my stitchy themes. The Finery of Nature is so beautiful, I don’t even mind stitching on the black Aida.
I am rooting for the penguin stitch! I love penguins. I hope you get the finishes you want, but don’t put stress on it, the process is the important part! ❤️
I love penguins, too! I should definitely be able to finish that stitch next month, but you’re right, I’m definitely more of a process crafter than a product crafter. I just wish my home looked like a cross stitcher lived here with finished projects on the walls. One day…
Wow Stephanie. Great wips and plans. I have a hint for keeping track of the top .. take a small snip off the upper left corner and you will always know which way is up. Found you from another floss tuber. I love your enthusiasm. My daughter and her family moved to Saint John NB last year. I have been once for a visit.
That is a great tip for knowing which way is up! Here I was thinking I needed to put more stitches into my starts so I could know but now I don’t have to haha. I’m so glad you found me. I moved to Moncton NB from Vancouver 8 years ago and love it out here! How is your daughter’s family liking it?
@FrallaKnits they love it there. We were going to move there.. but our house didn't sell. Then health issues came up for my son and I.. and knowing the Dr shortage there. It's probably better to be here for now. I really enjoyed your wip parade and monthly goals. I may incorporate some into my daunting (over 200 ish) wisps (works in slow progress.... I added the slow for me and created the newest cross stitch acronym haha)... I am going to incorporate 12 x 12 for Xmas eve, starting a blessing sampler Jan 1... and then 24 for 24 (maybe not ALL new starts... but wisps). Just trying to finish some xmas ornies for grandbabies. But slowly recovering from a major ear surgery right now... ouch.
I thoroughly enjoyed your flosstube ! Your 12 days of Christmas stitcher is so clever! I also have the MFE Penguins which I hope to start soon ( it’s been sitting in my kitted up pile for far too long 😁) and I look forward to seeing your progress on it x
I love the penguin stitch. Do I dare say it will be a finish when I pull it out in January?!? (That will probably be the kiss of death for that project and I’ll never finish it now haha). I’m glad you found my 12 Days of Christmas clever and not too cheesy…I’m somewhere in between. Thanks for stopping by!
Such good plans! Love your 12 days of Christmas stitching plans. Also - you have only been quilting since February!? Wow, you've made some awesome quilts so far! All Hallows Eve sampler is looking amazing :) You can totally finish it next year (me, probably not! 🤣) I would like to start Olivia for my birthday in March if that works for you!
