What did I just witness!? You guys are amazing. The way you deliver these updates is top notch! The audio, visuals and presentation was absolutely beyond my expectations. You make me love my job even more! Thank you.
I think it's a game changer, and I also love the new updates. They're very helpful for Framer users. I'm super excited about the plugins and forms I can now use in my daily Framer workflow. The presentations are awesome too!
This is a step in the right direction but I feel that for many people framer is still not quite there, not being able to export your site is a dealbreaker when clients want to host their sites on their own which 99% of them do, therefore framer still remains something for personal sites only for a large amount of people
That would be handy indeed, but how are you selling the sites to your clients? Have you thought about a different approach to how you could sell your sites? maybe a hosting fee?
Yep. Way too many bugs / basic feature requests that have gone unanswered, eg. responsive video. If I wanted non-responsive websites I'd have chosen wix
Going in the right direction!! The only thing I'd say is that upgrading the item capacity of each CMS of the Basic Plan would be amazing. You've added another collection (before 1, and now you cna have 2 collections) and I love that. However, I think 1 more powerful CMS is better than 2 small ones. Hope one day the Basic Plan CMS item limit is something like 4,000 or 5,000 items, not too much, not too little. Just enough for what the Basic plan is meant for.
CMS References are great, but it gets expensive quickly since the Basic Plan allows for only 2 collections. And if we're talking about bigger websites (e.g. e-commerce), having 10 collections only in the Pro plan is also limiting. Looking forward for Plugins!
Does the google sheets integration also work dynamically, that changes in the google sheets automatically are send to the CMS, and the CMS gets updated?
Hope one day you upgrade a little bit the Basic plan CMS 1,000 items limit. It still feels underwhelming. 1,000 is less than 3 years of content and after that you would need to delete content in order to continue using it. Deleting blog posts harms your SEO specially if you want to show up at the top.
Please add scale option as figma. Wherr you can scale down or up multiple elements at once. And please don’t tell me there is already this option, because there isn’t. Thanks.
@@Framer it’s cool you’ve added them, but it’s a feature that Webflow, Airtable etc have had for years and arguably should’ve been there from the start. So you’re catching up on core features, I find that pompous Apple-esque tone to be out of place personally. I like the updates though, good job, just not this presentation.
The same could be said about Apple. But I guess we both want to let everyone know the thing they have been eagerly waiting for is now available, sorry this didn’t suit your style. Agree that almost all features should have been there from the start (I wish we could’ve) but we have to build a bicycle before we can build a car. Especially tricky to pull of with a small team.
