Another awesome installment, thanks Neko. And the music choices, don't know if you or your brother Logan or someone else chooses, but it's like you're going through my music collection and picking my favorites.
@@RC-fp1tl I was actually surprised how accurate they were! Because my design puts the pivots so far apart from each other, if I have the same tolerance as other production bikes, my bike will be more accurate. There are little things that can be done in construction to compensate for the parts moving in heat affected zones like leaving more meat around the pivots to take off in final machining. For our next frames we are looking to put more of the complexity into the cnc parts so that there is less chance of things moving.
Bravo ! Neko, Jordan, F.T.W. Jordi- that there’s the deep end of the talent pool ! Can’t remember not rooting for Neko. I was lucky enough to work at FTW in the 90’s and have considered Frank as family since. Dude I can’t root any harder !
Hey Neko just curious but do you get much time in the gym and how important is it? And do you do some sort of stretching for mobility? As I am getting older I seam to need to do more of that to help recover? Just curious and I Love the insight from the videos so cool to see and the music is spot on!!
Hi Neko, could you comment on what you wear for protection? Really interested in the elbow pad choice and how they've faired for you. Glad to see riders of your caliber wearing elbies. Love what you're doing. Hopefully you can come to out PA for the first NW Cup!
I use these elbow pads, they work great: www.foxracing.com/product/enduro-pro-d3o-elbow-pads/28435.html?dwvar_28435_color=001&dwvar_28435_size=XS&cgid=protection-mtb
Hi Neko, any chance we could get a Q&A episode sometime, you make some really interesting component choices at time and it's always great to learn more about the choices. I presume you'll be doing a new video on the steel Cotic frames shortly?
I will see if WWC can update that! I always use Galfer rotors and pads. I have been liking the wave 223 rotor on the front and the shark 203 rotor on the rear. Wave gives a sharper bite and shark is a little better for dissipating heat. I have been messing around with a lot of different brakes, but my go to right now is TRP with Shimano hoses and oil.
@@steveo_bikes I found that the shimano hoses are firmer, giving the brakes a firmer bite point. The oil feels like it moves faster and is the best quality mineral oil I have found.
