I mean, that’s the thing, it’s not possible the way it’s being taught today. Catchers are basically taught to literally touch the ground then come up with the pitch, basically just trusting your guys to know where you want it.
@@pmcate2 well for one catchers have dedicated a significant portion of their training throughout their lives towards this one skill, and that goes up in flames instantly. That sucks. And two I think the deception is a neat part of the game. I appreciate watching how catchers can do what they do back there. One of the games within the game.
