What a great idea using lace in the frames! My mom has some stacks of old linens, doilies, etc. What a great idea to use the good parts! I will remember that when I have to start going thru things. Oh my gosh I forgot about my Shakespeare's peddler pillow charts! I have one done..Thanks for the reminder! I chose blue for my birds too..now to stitch it.. Always love what you share!

Wow, those are beautiful finishes!! I ABSOLUTELY loved the lace. Such a great idea for especially when my frame doesn’t fit perfectly and then adding lace to where there is extra space. I love the colors of all your finishes!!❤

Thank you for sharing your finishes! I had to do the lace framing on one of my Christmas samplers and I love it! I've also added fabric to either the top & bottom, or the sides on some of my more primitive pieces. Framing is SO expensive but for some of my samplers I just had to bite the bullet! Your farm wall is perfect in your home & don't you just enjoy looking at the work from your hands? Congratulaltions to your children for getting their Green Belt! I have a story for you about pride comets before the fall. Literally. I had a hip replacement and I ask my husband the other night to please get me a glass o water. He kinda gave me the stink eye. I thought I’m not asking him to do another thing for me. It was over 2 weeks. The next morning everyone was asleep and I needed a floss up in my closet. I thought I could just turn the basket over and step on it with my good leg. I didn’t put my leg in the center of the basket and down I fell. Therefore, Pride cometh before the fall literally. Of course, my husband said you let your pride stand in the way.
