That's the beauty of paying someone else to raise your kids, ya don't have to worry so much and if they turn out screwed up then you can blame the person ya hired.
I always liked that Fran wasn't the character type that tried getting into show business through her employer, like I Love Lucy. But she loved meeting all of the famous people that came into the house.

I love how Niles sprays Maxwell. He’s probably the only person person who can discipline his employer and get away with it. Plus, the Jewish guilt is great.

Actually a lot of students can't really afford to not have a gap year, if they haven't decided on a major or they want to work for a year and save up some money.
I noticed something: On seasons 1 and 2 the acting was more "real", the characters were all relatable, they looked like "real people". From Season 3 to 6, the acting became too "over the top", it's almost like a different show. For that, my favourite seasons are 1 and 2. And some episodes of season 3.
Normally i'd agree. but her and Fran have had moments throughout the series, also thats kind of the point, the joke is that Fran is so good at laying down the guilt that even CC feels bad.
She's trying (successfully) to guilt trip CC. Little details like extra perks that make even minimum wage go much further would only distract from that 😂
