Fran was completely in the right here: not only was it Maxwell's fault for making the scene in the first place, but on top of that, like they mention later in the episode, his play (Norma Rae) is ABOUT unions and standing up against poor working conditions! Making a big-budget play about unions and then completely ignoring the ACTUAL needs of workers is incredibly ignorant and hypocritical of him, and if I was Fran, I'd be the one railing against him!

Fun fact: They took this from an episode of “I Love Lucy” where Lucy cuts out an embarrassing article about Ricky that she doesn’t want him to see. Fran Drescher loved Lucille Ball and a lot of the Nanny scenes paid homage to I Love Lucy.

I KR , that one and her yellow one are my favorite. She is so peppy and comfortable walking around on em too. There is one that's pretty unique she wore in the film The Beautician and the Beast . It's blue and as well as these are the rare head to ankle length robes that are not common like 70 s and 80 s ive noticed. My mom had a an aqua colored one like that. That one in the movie was stitched different than the typical wrap style and had ruffled collar and cuffs and at the bottom. It drapes well but it looks not oversized like these do. If you haven't seen that one it happens right after she throws her arms up at the people cheering on Timothy Dalton s balcony..
