Also inaccurate. In every other thing I've seen, both drama and documentary, The Nanny would eat their meals with the children. Weather that be in the nursery or at table with the family. After all it is the Nanny's job to make sure they learn, and use, good table manners.

Ms Leachman said in an interview once that she tries to put her own spin on every part she plays, she prefers not to go along with stereotypes. @@nicholasjoyner1439 I think originally Niles was supposed to be much older until like season 5 or so when they did some flashbacks and he's only a few years older than Mr. Sheffield. Which could be problematic since this episode states that Niles and Nanny Mueller were sleeping together. So, either she was a pedophile or she stayed as the nanny until Niles was 18. They never said how much older Mr. Sheffield was than his siblings Nigel and Jocelyn so it's possible that she was working for the Sheffields for over a decade.
