Was there last week. Full of snow.

Driving up this road in the rental Peugeot in 2011 using gps I said the whole way up "no way it can be way up here, it must be wrong, we must be going the wrong way." Oh it's up there. Incredible the French what they did building this up there. Something very important happened there or it would never have been built.

Questa strada è molto pericolosa, molte curve e terribili burroni. Ora capisco perché in passato ci sono stati dei gravissimi incidenti stradali che hanno causato molti morti. Possibile che nonostante così tanti morti ci sono ancora lunghi tratti con burroni e nessun guard rail? Qualcuno sa dirmi se c'è un progetto per ristrutturare questa strada rendendola veramente sicura?
