You nailed it. I don't understand why some people think Europe must turn into one gigantic social security agency. Money doesn't grow on trees here. We had very strict immigration policies (for a reason) and now we're supposed to let millions of people in because the left said so. Don't get me wrong, I understand the people coming here flee from terrible things and/or from terrible poverty. But it's just not realistic to assume there will be a popular backing for this very politically,economically and socially draining refugee/migrant crisis. The "extremists" didn't come out of nowhere. Don't confuse culturally compatible migrants with opposing culture that's about invading and conquering. They are two totally different things. Hardcore Nationalism is pretty idiotic. IMO there should be a balance between both because yes countries should protect their citizens' safety and stability first but completely dismissing how interconnected our current world has become is pretty delusional. Having said that I would love to see Le Pen win. The EU was just a way to supply the strongest countries in Europe with cheap labor and restrict individual rights of its nations by centralizing power.
