I'm French. Everybody ca have his vacations when he wants. The restrictions come with children if you have some, or with the job. I take them in september : cheaper and less people.

You are right that France gets quality care. However, humans are still driven by greed. The best doctors in the world are in the United States. The best physicians from across the world want to move here because of better technology, more opportunity for growth, and obviously way more money $$$$ That’s why American healthcare is expensive. However, knowing you lived in Cali we both know some insurance companies and hospitals are really shitty lol. That’s why we have to pay more for not only insurance but for better hospital 😂 When I lived in France, I didn’t have to worry any of that BS but I felt doctors in America were more knowledgeable. I had a mentor who’s French physician moved to America primarily because he wanted to earn to be able to afford a RR Phantom and back in France hardly any MD can do that lol
I don't need the best doctor. I need good competent doctors. There are plenty here in France. Yes I know US doctors -- I lived in Manhattan for 20 years.
