Francesco Durante - Magnificat 

This divine music comes from Neapolitan Baroque great school of singing, the real creative engine of melody, the real inspiration of all operas and even modern songs!… I sung this Magnificat in my youth (40 years ago!) in conservatory with great choir Master Profeta, who stressed to have us adoring God in every note of this masterwork. My ancestors, the composers Antonio and Francesco Corbisiero, knew very well Francesco Durante (maybe studying with him too)… it is recorded in our family documents (Francesco was present in the Royal Court of King of Naples when Mozart came here… he was the King’s organist and vice-Kappell Meister). I thank you with all my heart for this video… tears of joy are my gratitude for this superb interpretation!
