And yeah, no matter how shitty my day was, I see his smile and sparkle in his eyes and it makes me relax and realize everything is how it is supposed to be and it is okay ;-)

I'm a Turkish person who fell in love with the Italian lyrics of this song, read the English translation and realized it is EVEN BETTER THAN I IMAGINED, listening to this German interview and thankfully understanding it. Oh god, this singer takes a lot of effort to understand-- for I don't know Italian; but I enjoy every effort I put in order to get to know him. He looks fabulous! ❤

Devo dire che mi è piaciuta tantissimo questa intervista. Si percepisce la grande stima che hanno per lui come musicista, per la sua bravura, il suo carisma, il suo sorriso. Mi è piaciuto particolarmente quando la presentatrice alla fine della prima parte ha detto, che solo a vederlo seduto lì vicino, sentirlo parlare, già tutta l'atmosfera si riempiva di musica! Mi è piaciuto quando il presentatore prima del esibizione ha detto, che essendo stato il strafavorito al eurosong il sesto posto potrebbe sembrare tra virgolette che fosse lui il perdente, invece è lui il grande vincitore. Un applauso alla Tv tedesca!
For anyone who needs a translation- Francesco basically talked about these things: Time after ESC was really demanding, as he had a lot of assignments in Italy (like TV Shows), so he couldn't recover that well. The atmosphere among the artists was quite pleasent, but it still felt like a competition under the surface. He didn't bring the ape, because he also needs some time to rest and can finally go back to the jungle ;). He's super happy about those views on RU-vid and would have never imagined that, but also said that most views don't come from the people he's actually written it for, but just from those who enjoy listening to it. Francesco also explained his musical background, including his parents running an instrument shop in Carrara, what made him try out plenty of instruments as a child. He's able to play the guitar, drums, bass and also "a little bit" the piano (as he proved afterwards :D). He really enjoys to share his passion for music with his brother and is proud to have worked with him on Occidentali's Karma as well. At one point in his career he even considered to work as a composer for other musicians only. The most exhausting thing about ESC was rehearsing it so many times, the best thing were all the emotions created including the reaction of the audience. About losing though being the favourite he said, that he always tries to see the positive side of things- he just enjoyed the experience and to see how an European audience reacts to his music, so the victory wasn't the only important thing for him.

I remember an interview about a month and a half ago where you made a small piece on the piano of "O Karma" I was struck by the beauty of your interpretation so deep and intimate (as it also transpired in the other slow pieces of the rest) and I wrote to you that it was Fantastic and make it a limited edition solo piano. Well I do not know if you will, but it makes me so glad that anyway you chose to make it known and appreciate abroad too because this song deserves it absolutely. Francesco you are great and I thank very much German tv for how he welcomed you. NAMASTÉ 🙏

Freddie Mercury said he could play the piano "a little" and that he was hopeless on guitar. We all know how untrue that is. I'd say the same for Francesco.
Keep underestimate the italians just because u don't act standoffish or full of yourself doesn't mean your not serious and deep,it's actually the opposite;when u are an artist confident in your talent and generous with what u do you are exactly like he is.
