Wow! I saw this movie for the first time in 1968 in Saigon, Vietnam. I was with US forces, and we hit the big city. Got to go to a real sit-down movie theater. You have to understand the French were there way before we were. The film was in French with English sub-titles (fairly common with the French movies). My first child was born in November of 1968 back in New York State. I was very comfortable with the French language. My grandmother, who raised me, was from Montreal area in Quebec and my daughter grew up to speak perfect French. What a monster flashback to a 75-year-old guy!

Слушая эту проникновенную Мелодию, сразу вспоминаешь фильм, кадры плывут и перемежаются со своими картинами тех лет, школьное время, сбегали с уроков, чтобы посмотреть фильм,и не один раз, какой же был восторг и восхищение, пытались подобрать музыку,кто на фоно, кто на гитаре, кто на аккордеоне, а кто на виолончели и скрипке, делали зарисовки кадров по памяти на листах в клеточку... Знали наизусть весь текст и общались, мы говорили о фильме друг с другом, а какое вкусное было мороженое Пломбир, которое накладывались в хрустящие Вафельные стаканчики... Образ жизни совершенно другой, простой и интересный, не заточенный под Золотого Тельца! Я уверена, у нас всё вернется!!! 😊👏🤝👍🤜🤛✊
