Francistown to Kazungula by bus. (Kazungula Bridge/Pontoon bonus footage)

Botswana RU-vid
I travelled on an Iveco midibus (similar to the Sprinter) from Francistown to Kazungula where I was crossing to return into Zambia.
The journey took approximately 6 hours, with a meal and restroom stop at Nata.
It was 26th July, which was just at the end of winter, so it wasn't the typical extreme heat of Botswana.
IN the bonus section I talk a little about the pontoon (Ferry) and the new Kazungula bridge which is under construction.

Yes I like Botswana. In 1996 i was at chobe lodge passed through zimbabwe, Victoria falls town to Kasane. In 2015, I used the same route to Kasane chobe lodge again. Its wonderful being there. I had gone for game drive and river cruise on chobe river. Equally enjoyed chobe bream.

Thank yu for this tour itis reaLy nice Praise God. Yesss have been to Francis town often an went in 2007 by over night coach from Gaborone to Kisana bt never got as far as yu did as turned Left an stayed in Kisani an visited River chobee to see wildlife Praise God. I Like this singing in what i guess is Setswana, please tell me who sings them, somebody.!!!!

Been there & used the pontoon on our way to Zambia from Pretoria. Will be visiting just to see the new bridge once covid is subdued. Strange u did not spot some wild animals between Nata & the border. Luv Africa & good work "The kumba guy"

Make a plan Cumba gay. Use the plantoons for tourism. When covid is over our tours are back there. Upgrade the plantoons and use it for tourism. We cant lose them. It os part of the culture in kasankula. Botawana an d Zanbia.

Normally, they take them away to another river crossing where a pontoon is needed. But yeah, that is a good idea.

@@theKhumbaguy i am a tourbus driver. I work for Eljosa travel and tours and they can only keep one of the plantoons so that the tourists can get the experiance what is it like.

Typing whilst watching. This video brings memories. I stayed in Francistown for three months in 2012. I loved it there especially the beef and whatnot. That stadium is still not in use?

@@theKhumbaguy Oh okay. That's good then. I thought it was abandoned due to some construction flaws or something. Botswana is a beautiful country and I hope to have another opportunity to visit again..

This is an interesting border crossing. 4 countries and a major river. Interesting place to visit. Is it easy for a non-local to stand at the Botswana zimbabwe border post
