César Franck Sonata for violin and piano I. Allegretto ben moderato 0:00 II. Allegro 6:18 III. Recitativo - Fantasia 14:50 IV. Allegretto poco mosso 22:14 David Oistrakh Lev Oborin Studio recording, Moscow, 1952
Oborin and Oistrakh, Gilels and Kogan are duo- giants of the Soviet era, who were rarely allowed to perform abroad. It’s amazing, we have some high quality recordings made with top recording companies( EMI for example), so we can appreciate and admire their artistry.
I love the sound quality of older recordings such as this one. It evokes a kind of nostalgia, especially when hearing a beautifully lyrical piece such as this sonata played by two masters of the art.
Jahrhundert!
I can't believe these 26 people who disliked it are they joking?!!! Who could not like this wonderful performance!!!!!! Even an alien would enjoy and like this extraordinary music
Maybe it's the violin playing style... Perhaps a little prim and proper from Mr. Perfect? Try this version if you care ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_BJ13kqZ3g0.html :)
It's always the Heifetz fans. They are devoted to one fiddler only. They're on every thread, "But Heifetz plays it......" whatever. Or, I heard a B note at 31:02 that was 1/millionth sharper than it should have been. I know because I have perfect pitch, even more perfect than the other guy that has perfect pitch and can only hear in thousandths of a pitch. They are bores, or even trolls.
one of the first record coming from then USSR into Europe .I remember still the green cover .In my opinion the utmost interpretation of this famous sonata !
I love the constant interruption every few seconds by jarringly loud advertisements trying to flog their wares. I remember fondly the halcyon days of youtube when it was in the hands of the people and it was not monetized. Now every yahoo out there is trying to make money somehow with their inane pet videos or bizarre antics.
This composition had been used as example in the italian youtube cultural video "Lezioni di Musica - Il Canone" of the channel "musicamonteverde". Is a really very very interesting video.
@@Glockenzunge does youtube even pay you? I mean, to 'pay the free ads youtube' it is the only thing you commented, not just in here but also by reply other comment. What is your gain? Btw any video-uploader can determinate exactly when to put ads. And I'm not even considering this dude is making money by one other's intrpretation.
@@marcosorrentiakaditirambo9306 RU-vid "pays" you by providing a free service, in the same sense that a provider of service "pays" for your fees by providing a service. You pay for the service RU-vid provides by looking at the ads (the alternative would be a fee paid to RU-vid) and RU-vid pays for your looking at ads by providing a service. Simple economics,
@@Glockenzunge got It, but my point's still the same: whoever did upload this vid is actually making money out of those ads; RU-vid is planty of classical music free-adds videos. The only difference here is that, the uploader is taking profits over others playing.
@@marcosorrentiakaditirambo9306 The uploader does not profit. If you see at the bottom of the description, the music is automatically licensed by various music distributers, etc. who earn money off of the music because it is copyrighted. Even if the uploader would try to monetize the video, RU-vid will demonetize them and probably license them to the distributors. Don't just throw around blame without justification. If you want proof of this (even though I should already have given you plenty), read Ashish's (another classical music uploader) comment on one of their videos. They express how frustrating it is to have the blame put on them even though RU-vid does it.
