Excellent song. If I may ask, Did Calvin Rodgers and Fred Hammond part ways? He and the Late Marvin McQuitty were Excellent drummers. Two of my Gospel favorites. They were a lot of inspiration for me as a church drummer!! No to disrespect this drummer at all.
I’m with you I love his new drummer mark but I dnt know if it’s the mix on the drums or something but the drums are too much trying to fit drum fill In all the gaps... Calvin and Marvin were busy drummers as well but they flowed a lot better

Naw him Calvin still work together a lot just not so much on tour. But Calvin is a true master of lick placement while making it feel like he’s still playing the pocket.
