I largely lost interest in the show after Frank was gone. It wasn’t like I was a huge Frank fan, or such, BUT with Frank plus Mike, there was a bit of an Abbot & Costello vibe to the show. After he was gone, it just felt like something was missing, plus the rumored reasons darkened its feel.
loved the show, watched pretty much every episode from begining, and its so sad , with a messed up back and couldnt load the truck, Crohn Desease limiting what he could eat on the road, and hooked on pain meds and Alcohol, he thought he should still be on the show, but i think they recovered great with Jersey mike and mikes brother, still watch and record every new episode.
I can recall one episode where a rather sizable young lady had a little crush on Frank and expressed that she thought he was cuddly. I don't think that poor Frank could get out of there quick enough 😮
I also was sad to hear of Franks Passing. I have stopped watching the show since Franks passing. I watched a post Frank episode with Mike and Danielle talking to themselves. During this on air chat they had Franks name came up by the person they were picking and they looked at one another and Mike said, "Frank? Frank who"? As if he never even was in their life or didn't matter to them one bit. They both laughed like children. I was so mad I decided to never watch the show anymore. I Couldn't believe they were so mean to him on the air like that. Was a loyal fan and tried to turn others onto the show but as far as I'm concerned Mike and Danielle can both stick it. Very unprofessional.
After Frank was shafted by the show & never was on again the show was never as good. Franks personality made the show! May Franks rest in peace and sins be forgiven and washed clean by the blood of the Lamb Yahshua the Messiah! We all miss you Frank!
Just for clarification. My brother worked on the production of this and 2 other shows. Frank was a good guy but he was also a drunk, very unreliable, always late and stank of alcohol. He was.mean too ,my brother said it was like his crap didn't stink and thought he was a star and cared nothing for others. Just remember what you see or hear is NOT always what reality is..
Every guy that collects stuff started as a kid, nothing new, my Dad collected and got me collecting. Frankly, these kind of shows ruined the market, along with Ebay, everyone thinks and old rusty thing is valuable and even thrift stores are getting in on it, too many people checking phones for prices and everyone wants to buy to resale for more, millennials and GenZ era doesn't even understand collecting!!!
All of these reality shows are fake (Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, Flipping Vegas and American Pickers). They are totally staged. I did like Frank and would occasionally watch American Pickers. But Mike and his arsehole brother were downright greedy and mean. I haven't watched AP since Frank left. RIP, Frank.
I think the best episode with Frank was the one where they had that emu from the petting zoo but the guy kept telling him that the emu was mean and was going to get him and they were hiding in this barn and it was just funny and that guy was just outside of the field laughing at both of them
