This man, one of the fathers of parametric architecture, got me into parametric architecture. After many years of understanding Grasshopper and architecture, my respect for this man increases even more. His relevance on contemporary architecture is paramount.

It always "what I feel..." with these kind non technical artsy kind of people with implicit declaration from them their feeling is better than yours and I am special look at me mindset. Never "what I know..." and I know from experience they are quick to being political and petty. And architects office is certainly that plus very stifling.

The fact he didn't know repetitive simple geometries are an important part of their culture and art is a big tell of how little research he actually did...

Science is a TV entertainment by now, we all know that human DNA is made of thousand billion different combinations, if we have equal human rights, we could never become another Gehry architect, each one of us is special its own way, including the web use. This is the biggest super market ever seen, we pick up what we prefer, but like a commercial center we love to see plenty of merchandise to make us get curious. We all know, we never bring home the whole store, even if we would like to have all products available. That's why we need each other to inspire each other to help each other and save the planet together, because a true Holy Creation, a heavenly garden, crazy architectures are still the best investiment, for those who can spend some money and establish some kind of social justice, lets try to be Fair each one his own way

HERES the deal with out the FRANK,S ie frank lloyd wright,,,we are trapped in our own mediocrity,,,they push the boundrys,,,,for the rest of us,,,,,most architects are so constrained by bylaws and clients,,,its a tough profession,,,,

Especially constrained by the client’s budget and amount of freedom allowed by the client. FLW had at least 4-5 projects where he was turned loose really with no budget to stick to obviously some of his masterpieces came from those commissions. That had to be the hardest part. To find wealthy and free thinking, creative clients.

You see, fans & followers, readers & partners, God gave us the gift of having imagination, dreaming, hanging on hopes, building up another vision of the world, its about FAITH, enjoying human nature as God decided for us because...He has much better ideas than other humans on this earth. When God is taking a look down here, of how many nasty anti human degenerated demons he brought to the world, poor him, he should feel the biggest loser ever seen. But then he has FAITH to believe, there is hope for salvation and...imagination is the answer

as an architect from good us school, i have to say gehry talking abut being capable of being chemical engineer is misleading the public at best and kinda buffoonish thing to say as if he is saying he is so intellectually multi talented which is highly suspect. first of all, us university architecture education is akin to humanities degree. i.e. combination art, history, english and no serious science or math required to graduate. high school kid heading toward jc has more stem classes that architecture grad and undergrad us university period. gehry is jc transfer to USC (university of second choice) and he should thank lucky stars us joe public is dumb enough to like his work. he is just a buffoonish artsy guy marketing himself which is what lot of known architect do unfortunately. he is incapable of being no chemical or any other engineer.

many confused people throw around false equivalency by comparing pritzker prize to nobel prize. pritzer prize is just a vanity project and is a branding effort for wealthy pritzker family name. moreover, the prize committee is composed of mostly random buffoons who have not knowledge of building design and hence the prizes has no credibility. its akin to trash collector in nobel award selection committee making award for physics. architecture is a more a humanities degree than anything. most top tier us college or university do not offer this degree for a reason. harvard graduate design school has lot of people from second, third rate undergraduate schools because most kid smart enough to get into top tier schools are too intelligent to get into this non technical profession.

outdated? he is brilliant, not young but if you reach him as an architect or at least do half of what he has achieved only then i will give you credit. He has defined this industry. Good luck trying to be better than him, that sounds like a very hard goal, but good luck.

Looks like a pile of scrap metal clinging to a magnet at a scrap metal yard.. pushing the limits requires more than just being absurd for the sake of being absurd.. nowhere near the grace, beauty, sculptural elegance is Zaha Hadid’s beautiful work of pushing the limits.. all of gehrys work looks corny and silly, the jerry Lewis of architecture. And before all you Gehry fans start attacking with your opinions.. we all are entitled to our own opinion
