Real drivers stages that you could get your teeth into and that could also bite back.
We had a great run and apart from my usual disrespect for chicanes it went mostly to plan.
2nd overall behind well deserved National winners, Eddie Doherty and Tom Murphy was more than we could have hoped for.
Sterling drive from locals, Colin Byrne and Stephen Quin to take a hard fought 3rd place finish.
I must commend the club and Kevin O'Riordan for the effort that went into this rally.
From a world class service area to the centralisation of the whole event to make it easy for clubmen to compete.
The storm on Saturday morning that brought down trees on ss1 couldn’t even stop these guys. Chainsaws at the ready and we started the stage on time.
I can genuinely say those Saturday stages are among the most enjoyable stages I’ve ever done.
