I find it fabulously refreshing to see a trainer who really cares how to rider and horse communicate

A classic example of the every day use of dressage. People give dressage such a bad rep for it being too "unnatural". Whereas it's the exact opposite. it really helps the horse and rider to be able to move all parts of the horse and utilize all the muscles for a properly trained and fit horse.

It is the foundation for many forms of riding. I showed in. Eq. Childrens. Jr. Hunter, then Working Hunters. It is the base, no dought. I did Combine Training and Pony Club until I switched Great memories of all. I showed over 20 plus yrs. Not my cup of tea. So I changed 🐎🌷

energy from the hind end, sending the horse into an elastic contact to encourage him to soften at his poll, yield his jaw, lift his back, and become supple and responsive. On the bit, in the bridle, on contact, in a frame, carrying himself...etc,

When a horse falls behind the bit it's because the he/ she does not have to listen to the rider, because the rider is using a bit that doesn't suit the horse or the rider physically trying to pull the horse on the bit. There is no contact from the riders hands to the horses mouth. If you looked at a horse who was behind the bit ( side angle ) you could draw diagonal line down the front of his/ her face. This happens because the horse may tuck his/ her nose in to their chest to lose contact.

like you know when the horse goes down into the contact? he means using seat and leg push them into the contact aka up to the bit, so they stay round through the back and frame their head (: or atleast thats how i interpretated it

Often the horse will fall behind the bit when to much hand and not enough leg is used. This implies that the horse lacks forward momentum. By riding from your leg into your hand and having an educated lower leg this problem can easily be avoided.

one difficulty i see is use e of the word "bend; to someone with a dresage background that means bend in the ribs, not neck

Why are they are they ridiing draft; cross bred horses/ cross breeds. Those are not Hunters... 🐎. The Classic TB should Always win. Cross breds and Warm blood should Stay in the Jumper ring, not The Hunters... .. 🐎😁

why are they wiggling with the hands that much, its not good riding. Cheating with contact? But overall its informative and would improve rideability..
