Frank' N Coaster is the rooftop roller coaster at the House of Frankenstein. This Wisdom Rides creation may be small, but it offers nice views of Clifton Hill and Niagara Falls since it's located atop a building. This ride is the former Thriller Coaster that was relocated from Long Island's Sports Plus Entertainment Center.

As someone who recently rode Frank 'N Coaster several days ago, I believe that this ride is worth experiencing in the back for a sharp burst of lateral ejector airtime after the first turn by the Burger King sign. It's extremely bizarre being ejected straight up and then abruptly jolted right while falling back into your seat. I find it a bit painful because of the lack of seat padding, but the ejector pop and laterals throughout the ride are no joke.

1:50 There's some coaster on a rooftop in Mexico too. On top of a mall. I saw it on Coaster Studios. Whole little amusement park actually, I believe. With a half dozen rides or so.

There are quite a few more rooftop coasters. In Mexico and Japan, for example.

Nice to know you enjoyed the Falls. I was working my job on the American side this past weekend and we were SWAMPED with customers. Glad to see not every business in the area was crazy.

I never get kiddie credits theses days but I'd do this one (and Tiger Terror in Illinois), just because I love the trains so much. They look great! Edit, I am too tall it seems, I like my knees as they are lol.

I can't tell you how many times I stopped at that burger king at 2am when going to Clifton Hill with friends back in 1999-2002 timeframe. Had to wait until we were 19yr old, then bam! 😂....but like you said that coaster wasn't there back then. I moved away from Buffalo for good in 2002 and only visit seldom to see family.

have you ridden Runaway Train at Fun Center at Paige's Crossing? That's another wisdom rides coaster that I feel like could be pretty exciting with an underground tunnel and two tight helices.

Do any of the Magic Kingdom coasters count as being rooftop coasters, given they are built on top of the Utilidors? The Utilidors aren’t underground (and cannot be, given the terrain), so anything above surely counts as roof? That would make, I assume, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train a rooftop coaster!

Haha nahhh, that's cray cray. A tunnel doesn't have a roof. It's a tube, in the ground. At most, it would be a ceiling. ;)

@@jonny-b4954 but…the Utilidors aren’t really under ground. It’s all an illusion. If you’ve ever seen photos of the staff entrance at the back of the park, it becomes apparent that the utilidors really are at ground level and the park itself is built above that, on the roof. The land is all built on swamp, so actual underground tunnels wouldn’t have been viable.

Cool coaster. Also what is that wavy looking track at 4:39? One of those multi-level go-kart tracks? I've always wanted to go on one of those. All the go kart tracks I've ever been on were flat......

My mom did HoF back in her teen years and said it was super cheesy and not worth it, must have gotten better. What we have here is a janky rooftop coaster in a Hotspot for casinos and really expensive, weirdly themed attractions. Vegas anyone?

The long gone Tornado coaster at Coney Island was partially built above some shops along Bowery Street . Opened in 1926 and removed in the 1970s ( I think) .
