Even Sinatra's speaking voice consists of great phrasing and rhythm - each word is well enunciated and understandable.

Really nice to see an interview where you could learn something from Sinatra, rather than have an interviewer that annoys or bores the hell out of him.

Illuminating. Sinatra studied the breath control of Tommy Dorsey's trombone playing. Sinatra's high intelligence and thoughtfulness is never in doubt. He brought these qualities to the songs.

Every word and punctuation mark mattered in his singing. Unique!

Probably one of the most informative and insightful interviews with Mr. Sinatra I have ever seen. Excellent questions and patience to allow Frank Sinatra to answer thoroughly with great detail. Awesome, really enjoyed it.

Some pathetic low-lifes feel the need to make ugly comments about a man who brought so much happiness to people. I guess the bigger the talent, the bigger the popularity, the larger the amount of charity, the more desperate they are to put him down. Maybe it's because they lead dismal, nowhere lives, acting out like a bad child, gives them the attention they crave & makes them feel like they aren't so rotten. Now for the important part. Great interview by Bill Boggs. Thoughtful, insightful questions. Each one is answered with care & insight relating to any performer & an audience. 45 years on & this rare interview is still of interest to so many dedicated fans. Thanks for posting.

Frank Sinatra was a wonderful singer and performer, but he did a lot of shi**y and illegal things in his lifetime and that cannot be denied. No famous person should be idolized. They are all human with human frailties, Sinatra included. Oh and, by the way, I thought that we are supposed to be able to freely express our opinions here.

Excellent interview. Sinatra likes this guy. It is evident when he starts a sentence that the interviewer just used. Sinatra would never allow his perceived "vulnerability" to be on display to just anyone. Well done and enlightening.

Frank's last wife, golddigger Barbara, said Frank washed in Ivory soap, which is the cheapest most foul-smelling krap on the market. I think Frank's wearing this strange outfit because if you look at 05:49 this is certainly the heaviest he has ever been, and wanted something to distract from that, although it's not working.
