Racism?...I guess you see what you want to see....If you knew their history they were the best of friends and this clip shows the enormous amount of respect they had for each other....And the ENORMOUS talent they both had..
@@JoshuaRoss2 You're kidding tight? Nat King Cole was a platinum selling singer, so was Louis Armstrong etc.. Sammy was far from being the only one lol
No one brought that up 😂 but nice try! Did Sammy face LOTS of racism to the point where FRANK had to DEFEND him? Yes, yes that did happen. Why? Because racism existed back then lol Hope this helps
I remember seeing this video years ago as recommended on our class. Now Taehyung reposted a clip of this, and now I was brought here again. This is so awesome!
I have just spent two fabulous hours with Frank and Sammy. I have laughed and cried. What nostalgia and a wonderful afternoon of pure talent and magic. Don't however forget the musicians and arrangers. No more like them...
Yo llegando por la recomendación de Tae , enserio su gusto es tan exquisito , que me encanta cuando nos recomienda canciones ya que se que van a ser maravillosas
+Hans Radstrom You're right, Hans. This is not their worst performance, but it's not their best either. There are more entertaining examples of these two at work :)
@@ethanfaircloth7854 I listen to this song a lot with Frank and Sammy, like almost every day I have to listen to it once - it's hard to describe but it fills me with happiness.
Eu vim sim pela publicação do tae , mas confesso que estou apaixonada por esses dois 💜🛐 Yes, I came for tae's publication, but I confess that I'm in love with these two 💜🛐
I love this song bc it reminded me of when myself when I would always cling to my daddy because he was someone that I loved so much while he was here on earth.
Keybobrob1 Sammy and Frank were the best of friends. If it was not for Frank helping out with Sams career he wouldn't be famous as much as he was. I love the rat pack.
SHOWBIZ GOLD... ...and, apparently, a visual pun that was also a social statement, that completely got past the network's Standards and Practices Department. Bravo.
I think maybe Sammy was the better entertainer coz he offered everything but no one like my beloved Frank could recite poetry and make you feel he was singing to YOU...
True, But @ least teen starts are expected to get in some trouble as part of growing up. What's sad is that the Kardashians are considered entertainment now !!
Its true that Davis could not intermix freely with adoring fans and would have to wait in a seperate area for his taxi to pick him up and take him back to his predominantly Black neighborhood, but i'm glad he lived long enough to see racial segregation come to an end. I love the bond between Sinatra and Davis; spectacular indeed!
