This is the original video of Frank Stallone performing the title song for Rambo First Blood Part 2. This was shot at the Veterans Cemetary in Westwood California
It was Veterans Day yesterday and this makes me think of veterans who served in the military who have to to go through life even after the conflict. They are truly heroes and they protect us each day.
This song is very special to me because my late father was a World War II veteran and I am very proud to be the daughter of a veteran. Thank you, Daddy, for your service to our country. You made me very proud, and I am forever grateful. Thank you, Mr. Stallone, for composing such a beautiful song.
I am from Indonesia Like This song Love This Song ( Translate Speak Indonesian To english!! " Lagu Ini Menemani Masa KecilKu Seluruh Keluargaku Mencintai rambo ,keluargaku lah yang membuat aku mengetahui lagu ini " )
I was born in '75 so at the time, Rambo 1 & 2 was just mere entertainment. At my age now, after understanding what the movies are truly about, this song will always bring tears to my eyes. So beautifully written. Great video!
Clark Human I was born some time before that, and I remember when the troops were pulled out of Saigon and came home. Then we witnessed the aftermath with our troops. This song really hits home.

In an alternative universe, the august coup in the Soviet Union in 1991 creates the Soviet Civil War and the Confederate States helps the Soviets fight against secessionists and goes Vietnam war in their backyard but they learn that it’s the brotherhood of each other that they gained. Not just a military and political victory.
ESTA OBRA MUSICAL EXPRESA Y REALMENTE EL QUE LA ESCRIBIO Y EL QUE LA INTERPRETAN CUANDO EL SERHUMANO PELEABA POR LONQUE REALMENTE CREIAN QYE ESTABA BIEN Y SE HONRABA LA MUERTE DE OTRSO HOY NO ES ASI HOY MUEREN Y ESTAMOS INDIFERENTES ESTAMOS DEJANDO DE SER HUMANOS 😔
I want, what they want, and every other guy who came over here and spilled his guts and gave everything he had, wants! For our country to love us as much as we love it! That's what I want!
We gave our hearts We gave it all Flame in the fire Burns forevermore The sorrow in believing Honor and truth Gray spires climbing Wrapped around our youth Peace in our life Remember the call Oh, a cheer for my brothers Think of them all Home of the brave We'll never fall The strength of our nation Belongs to us all. Time is the healing of souls laid to rest Peace is the virtue Never forget Tomorrow's an angel Watching us all Telling the people she wraps around our hearts
Mr. Stallone, it was great to meet you finally. I've enjoyed your art at playing your music. I told my brother that your music in many of the Movies played great parts in production. I always thought, sorry if I thought wrong, that all the movies of Sylvester were family oriented. Man, you're a great among the great Musicians. Did you ever have a concert with Elvis? What about Mercury? Dolly? Michael Jackson? Wow, I like you on American Bandstand. I knew it was You in tombstone. You mean to tell me you got to play with Kurt Russell? ELLIOT? GREAT JOB MR. STALLONE.
Rambo came out in 1985 but what year did the movie take place in? Memories a bit fuzzy. Does First Blood take place after Rambo or is Rambo just a flashback movie.
Rambo: First Blood part II came out in 1985 and takes place in 1985. This is confirmed when one of the POW's asks Rambo what year is it and he says 1985. The movie starts with Rambo being in prison after the events of First Blood (he was sentenced for 10 years and spent 5 years there already), so the events of First Blood take place in 1980.
@@maciejkowalski2759I agree. At the beginning of Rambo: First Blood - Part II, Trautman apologizes to Rambo for having been sent to that hellhole of a quarry (Due to the events in 'First Blood', so 'Rambo: First Blood - Part II' IS a proper sequel 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
This song really did fit in Reagans 1980s. It worked for me. But those were the days, the USA - and my country - is now so much less. No real force left and being stripped and exploited.
Vietnam Iraq n Afghanistam Vet's begging on the streets of Washington n New York since 2005 to present 2021. Shame on America. Where are US NGOs who care for Veteran's? Respects from India. We in India love our soldiers n care for em.
I was born in 1971! My Father,2 of my Uncles my great Uncle all served in the military totoday on my Father one Uncle of mine still live and the ones who passed away I miss very dearly!
Anyone that saw this video before they saw the movie must've been thinking "spoiler alert!!!" They couldn't find any scenes that didn't give away the ending?
