I feel like I just jumped back in time…..Times when the world was kinder, and people were sweeter. We worked harder, and laughed more. It is a joy to hear all these older songs, even if it is to reflect on all those days. God bless us all !!😘

It's 2 years in the future and the political landscape is so much more disturbing and grotesque than you could of imagined. The good part is that this performance of Moonglow reminds us of the good things in the world even that much more. I say play on!

Actually he had 86 here (it was in 2012) and even so it's a remarkable experience to see a so aged person playing well and confidently like this. At that point of life only ONE single year can mean a huge difference. I watched a video of his last public appearing at Lincoln Center (92 years old) and he barely could hold the guitar. He was trying hard but everything you can hear is an eventual buzzing and detuned sound coming out from the instrument. It's very sad to realize what time will do to all of us.

Met Bucky at the jazz guitar festival / workshop in Wrexham,North Wales several years ago. What a modest, polite , mannered charming man he was.He had played with every star singer you could name, including Ol' blue eyes himself in a select dinner party at the White House for President Reagan and he was so understated about it .He reminded me of a gentle ,informal headmaster from the small local primary school instead of the long time master virtuoso of the Jazz guitar.R.I.P. Eric ~ You'll be surprised at what you will be able to do at "that age" if you kept family close, worshiped God, loved his son Jesus and just tried to live the best you could for the good of mankind. I think these are the things that Bucky did and he lived a long time. Stay well and whatever you do in this life, do it for the glory of God. You will be rewarded mightily!! SYLVIA-FL 6/25/2020

I've seen Frank play several times with Vinnie Raniola(sp?). These guy are fantastic. It makes me wonder about all the hours they put into being so great. Amazing! RIP Bucky and thank you for your service to our great country in WW2.

I saw Segovia in '76, he was in his mid 80's, somewhere. Crotchetiest old bugger I ever saw. But he played like the master he was. Boston, Symphony hall, no microphone. I was about 10 rows back, dead center. He messed up the Bach Bouree and had to hit the start 3 times before he got it going. At least he didn't start playing scales, which my teacher at the time told me he would do if he messed things up too badly. Glad to have gotten to see him.
