ironically, even though youtube has, at last count, roughly 75 buhzillion post that show hot girls in bikinis walking on the beach, set to every conceivable piece of music, up to and including the battle hymn of the republic, there is NOT ONE set to "girl from ipanema" the song that is ABOUT a hot girl walking on the beach.
I don’t think this version is directed by Zappa, it sounds improvised by the band. And bands often like to mess around and play in different keys to be jolly and funny.

Communism is great. Everyone likes it. You should try it, you won't be disapointed. It's better than you think. It brings people together in peace and love. Those who don't understand it are dumb.
Don Tanner ... Yeah. I'm a huge fan of FZ. But one of the few nits I have to pick with him is not that he smoked tobacco, but that he was so condescending to anyone that did other drugs. Future generations are going to be so puzzled at how blind we were to the truly destructive nature of tobacco all the while fighting a "war on drugs".
