I read this book back in high school and it was one of my favorite required readings. Your narration and the voices of the main characters was nothing short of spectacular. I can actually feel the anguish, despair and sorrow of both Victor and the Creature through your performance. Please keep doing what you're doing. This was amazing.
I had to read this book for school and I really think I would not have enjoyed it as much as I did if I didn’t have your audiobook to listen to while reading. Seriously cannot thank you enough.
It’s really my pleasure. If I’m being honest this comment pretty perfectly encapsulates everything I could hope for when I make these - so thanks for taking the time to share your experience!
THANK YOU. I’m taking a college course and completely forgot to do the reading. It’s two days before class starts and I’m finally almost through the novel ❤
Thank goodness for this! It makes reading the book so much easier! My daughter has dyslexia and having this support to read the book is amazing! Thank you!
Thanks so much! I totally understand, it’s a tough read for sure, but there are such stunningly beautiful things in it. I hope you continue to enjoy it!
Thankk youuu 😢😢 I can't read or understand classics, the only way I made any progress at all is to force myself to hear the audiobook on repeat. This helped a lot! Saved me so much suffering!
I’m so glad! It’s a challenging story, and a really interesting one to read right now with all the news and developments regarding the creation of Artificial Intelligence. I hope you enjoy it!
I typically initially read from a paper copy but then record myself reading from whatever version of a classic book is available to read on the Books App on my I-pad. Unfortunately this one does not provide the exact publication date or edition - but I believe I read her longest iteration of the story.
6:47:18 there seems to be missing the line “ yet one of the first results of those sympathies for which the demon thirsted would be children” I am really enjoying listening to this while reading as this has been a surprisingly hard book for me:)
Hey, thanks for listening! There are different editions of this book that were published in 1818 and 1831. It’s possible that the difference you’ve noticed is because of this, it’s also very possible I made a mistake when editing. If you are interested - there are a lot of great articles available online discussing the difference between these editions and how over the years the popularity of the editions have changed and shifted.
Thank you for this, it kept me focused while reading Frankenstein for school. I hated the book because I was forced to read it, but this audiobook made me enjoy the book again.
