Oh…😢. When the creature started talking to his bride, calling her beautiful and perfect even though she was covered in stitches and scars, telling her about the life he wanted to have with her, my heart broke for him. He probably would have been a wonderful husband.

I always loved that ending as it very much leaves it open ended the creature, now with no father a sad outlook on humanity how it has treated him walks across the frozen waste land with its creator forever alone to walk the earth as a monster, a killer in the eyes of human when he only wish for love and acceptance.

OMG! Whole movie was FANTASTIC! But the ending honestly got me teary eyed. The whole mood of the movie, and the last parts with all the snow, and coldness. How hauntingly beautiful. This film affected me much like the first time I read Mary Shelley's beautiful, terrifying book. It was truly amazing. I have tried to return to another read of this book as often as every year. And I still find new emotions waiting for me with each return. Now this movie will become another tradition for me. Thank you for offering this to us Halloween weekend 2022. @@abcxyz8787 The film followed the basic storyline. A few changes in the details, probably to simplify the timing and adjust lengthy details. But all in all, both are closer than films in the past. The book is worth the read. An unedited audiobook would make it easier for people who don't like to read books. I'd suggest anyone who doesn't like to read personally, would serve themselves notable improvements on many levels, to add the love of reading to their skills. This book is one that was written by a brilliant writer. A series of journal entries and letters leads the reader through the story. The story starts and ends on a frozen waterway, with interaction between Dr. Frankenstein, the captain and crew of an ice locked ship, is part of the original novel. Very scary part. It becomes part of the captain's log. Dracula, by Bram Stoker, is similarly written in journal entries and letters. It was a popular writing technique of that era, giving the storyline a mystery discovery tilt. This is more entertaining and interacting with readers, rather than the flat out single voice storyline, just written out. Reading old books gives you a view of life of that era.

Why couldn't the young doctor just complete the regeneration of the dead woman as a companion for the human male creature just out of compassion and simple and easily understood kindness, so that both the hybrids could have a chance of love and companionship . That he destroyed her when she was ready to be revived was even more evil cruel and malicious than his first disrespectful terrible crossing of a forbidden spiritual boundary. As humans we cannot survive when not even a single soul loves and cares for us.

I can totally relate to the monster... Never being accepted an outcast... Given up for adoption then adopted by people who after having their own child and wishing they never adopted me and only being nice to me in front of others and doing everything they could to make my life difficult... I'm very strong and independent and can overcome any challenge endure the harshest conditions... My knowledge and skills are practically limitless... I know how it feels to love and know how it feels to never get that love in return... If I'm kind it's seen as a weakness an invitation to harm me... I've developed a way to passively get people to fear me and be unapproachable... I don't consider myself human rather the next evolutionary step ahead of it's time because of my isolation... A life of no excuses and pure honesty never having regrets or do anything to apologize for... No fear from anything and because of the internet I can avoid contact at the point of sale pay my bills on line... COVID was a dream come true...

It isn't about revenge or getting paid back or treating someone else like $hit for some reparations... I get to be me and do whatever I want since breaking away... Being the better for it and they get to carry on without ever knowing who I was then or now... Doing something to these people who don't deserve my time would only put them in control and somehow justify there cruelty because nobody cares about what they do or did only what the reaction of the outcast would be and I'm not going to continue that cycle... I left so I can have a life and that life is more valuable than the satisfaction of whatever breaking news story would be... In the end I get the credit for rising up not sinking to there level...

Fabulous film art ... in every aspect. It might be just a novel about two monsters, the creator himself and his creature he brought to life. Related to our modernity and modern medicine, with re-animations, artificial koma and fertilization or surrogate mother, organ transplantation to freezing, gene manipulation and chip implantation into the brain ... this story gives us to think about the conflicts we might have to deal with by overstepping some critical boundaries given by nature itself. Tks for uploading part 1 and 2.

I can't say enough good about this adaptation, it's so faithful & justifies its adaptation as it does its own thing, properly omits certain details that don't make or break the story inherently but that simply couldn't be done in the medium of television as the original was designed to be told in the book format while also visually making it clear what's going on rather than just retelling it in a format it wasn't designed to be told in. The performances by all of the actors involved were terrific, the people who wrote the screenplay actually understood that the monster isn't violent because he has the brain of a criminal & that Dr Frankenstein is not a hysterical creep. Those original Universal films are a complete disgrace & should be erased from history that's how much contempt I have for those garbage films.

Good grief your pretentiousness is just unparalleled. The Universal Monster films are a national treasure. The world is big enough for both of them. It's people like you the world has far too many of. I read the book and completely enjoyed it. I also love the Universal "monster" version.

There are some emotional moments in Frankenstein that kinda make me sad, Victor’s mother dying of a terrible fever, the monster being hated by humans in the outside world due to his ugly appearance, Justine being wrongly hanged for William’s death that the monster caused, Victor feeling guilty for playing God by creating his monster and eventually putting William and Justine in danger when they were both murdered by his creation, Elizabeth being killed by the monster, Victor tragically dying on board Captain Walton’s ship, and lastly the monster sadly committing suicide by burning himself along with Victor’s corpse at the end of the story. 🧟‍♂️⚡️🥺😢😭🤧

“She is so beautiful, she is perfect. So much I want to do with you. Share with you, teach you about life, and love. I have made us a home, our own secret place. We can live without fear. With our children, together.” He really just wanted a wife, someone to just love and feel the love back to him. Even wanting to teach her newer things in life and teach her about love. Beautiful

What ns! I am the only being reflecting such terms / compIiments and love related terms and special names like Isabel / Elizabeth / Eva etc! The misused special name Isabel and the other unsuitable name such as Serrano and the big terms wf and perfect and beautiful and love!

All the bad things that happen to humnz are a form of karma for their harrible zynz - reIationships are only meant for us pure beings (me & my pure protectors aka the alphas) who are an enjoyable presence aka beings blessed with a pure body that doesn’t ghx one out, and trying to be in a reIationship is a harrible _ / zyn, as is fercing someone into existence against its will and without its consent in a pointI_s morteI world...
@thetrueoneandonlyladyprinc8038
humnz are chaotic things born from chaos and the most sakryIegiux zynz that are bound to create more chaos / zyn by continuing the vicious cycle of so-called 'life' if they don't become aware or if all the wrong things such as btg and bngng aren't b4nnedfaster

...almost all humnz only dsv the most afI fatez - to pay for all zynz...
@thetrueoneandonlyladyprinc8038
Also, lifting womyn is a beyond harrible _e / zyn - such harrible scenes need to be b4nned from all movies! And plucking flowers and _ing trees are also a harrible _e! Flowers and trees are pure and sacred non-moving beings who reflect me the pure / sacred being, and they should have always been protected from humnz!

Believe the newspapers or whatever you want but in my opinion it is obvious that Byron wrote it, it is also written on various parts that he put his hand on it, instead for me he is the author of the book.

Don't assume what her opinions would be, that's disrespectful. Anyway, this was not particularly faithful. At all. It retained the major plot points and that's about it. I was disappointed in it, and I can certainly say I wouldn't be proud if I had written the book.

I and my friends were skiing at Whistler Blackcome, foolishly! The wind chill at the top, was minus 60 F. We got the Hell off the mountain, ASAP, but we literally had icicles in our noses. CAREFUL mouth breathing was the order of the day! It took one hour of skiing from the top to the Lodge!!! Very interesting!! Db

There’s a moral lesson in Frankenstein, you can’t play God by creating man or it would turn out to be a monster. Victor Frankenstein was blindly obsessed with the idea to cheat death by creating life but he made an insane mistake when he created a monster, not a human being. However the monster wanted to be loved by humans but he was ugly and that made him a murderer who killed Victor’s family. I adore Mary Shelley’s book and I know it became part of the Halloween tradition because it’s scary. IT’S ALIVE!!!!!

M. Shelley created a social critical Masterpiece with her Novel Frankenstein, not Frankenstein created a Monster, Society did and Secondary he as well! And it still fits our Society today, superficial, all about the looks! And I grab myself on my own nose, as a women I always try to look as good as possible but I am a ICU Nurse and after many years working there I started over and work with Disabled people, and I learned a lot again! These people showed me to be thankful with little things, like they are, all of them are beautiful souls but very much judged by our Society!
