In this video I show you the new M-Press™ by Frankford Arsenal. With the Coaxial M-Press™ you are able to reload ammo with a minimum runout. The Frankford Arsenal M-Press™ is a modern reloading press with integrated LED light and a very unique case holder.

Very good thank you, looking at getting one now. Will it seat primers too or do you need another tool?

Does it have enough clearance for bullet seating dies with micrometers or does it have problems with such tall dies like the bonanza does?
@kriszml

Thank you. Unfortunatelly the opening is not large enough for hornady bullet seating die with micro adj.

Just wondering if that M press can be use to reload a pistol ammo?

Thanks for posting this, I have the awful Forster Co Ax press, and there are so many things about the design that are wrong if using it for large cartridges, this new design appears to have addressed most of the problems, can the 1 1/4" dies be used in this press, and will the holder take the thick rimmed NE cartridge cases ?
@wiederladerTv
@wiederladerTv 3 года назад
1 1/4 can not be used...sorry. I will test if rimmed cases will work with the shell holder asap

If you're looking for a buyer of that 'awful' Forster Co Ax, pick me. The Frankford is a Chinese made knock off of the Forster. Do a little research & you'll find folks who have had plenty of issues with the Frankford. ;-)

@@MikeSiemens88 I have no doubt that the Forster will work with some of the small cartridges, but even with 45 Colt you have to use a special thick rim shell holder, the problem is it does not have enough length for the larger cartridges, the capper is crude, there is limited access, and the handle comes down right on of the centre line of the press, which makes you do a jig every time you operate it, the die rings a "self aligning" which means they wobble about as you load, they also rely on just 4 threads in an aluminium lock ring, which takes the full thrust of loading, OK for small cases, but no good for larger cases. The do look good on the bench, and are very well made, but no good for me.

@@453421abcdefg12345 sorry to hear you are having problems with your co-ax. Less access is a common problem with it but it is a price to pay for the accuracy a double column design offers. The FA M-press seems to have solved this with just a bigger overall unit. It is true that you’ll need different sized clamps, but it still beats having a dozen shell holders. The wobble actually is a good thing, since it provides some degree of free floating that allow for better case to die alignment and less runout. Trust me: there are many pro shooters (not my case) that prefer this press than single stage or turret precisely for this feature. Four threads in a lock ring is pretty standard, I don’t know if you’ll find a thicker one. The Forster’s lock ring is among the widest for sure. Didn’t know they were made of aluminum, always thought that lock rings had to be made of steel too so its threads aren’t peeled off by the die. The Co-Ax Says say it’s supposed to handle up to .338 Lapua cartridges in length. What long cartridges are you having trouble with? My biggest gripe with this press is that it is not compatible with bullet seating does with micrometers, the lever isn’t tall enough for clearance. I don’t care for the tedious priming system either. To be honest, I never found a press with a priming system that I liked, I prefer hand or bench primers.

can the shell holder take 338 Lapua Magnum?

Too bad they changed the standard to die block should have stayed with die rings. Also the shell holder mechanism is barely secured to the carriage. Get a stuck case and it ripped the plate right out

Nice press, but to be honest it looks like innovation mostly for the sake of innovation. I'll stick to my pair of old Lee classics.

@@wiederladerTv I think if we all boycott buying any reloading supplies, one group may lean on the other to step up production and get some primers and powder back on the selves. This everlasting shortage is ridiculous.

@@wiederladerTv I don’t mind paying a little more just to have them. Not 100$ for a pound of powder on GB or 1$ a primer. If we had to pay 20% more to entice the industry to bump up production and expand their facilities, I think it would be a wise investment.
