I love every single song of Frankie Ballard's. I wish I could attend one of his concerts, but I don't think he's coming to California anytime soon.......his song "It All Started With a Beer" is mine and my husband's song, but I love every single one of his songs. His voice is so soothing and unique. :)
let's give credit where credit is due folks Travis Meadows songwriter for "Don't you wanna fall" is a friggin bad ass...Just look what he wrote for Dierks Bentley "Riser". And Jake Owen "What we ain't got". If you haven't heard of Travis Meadows shame on you
My best friend's mom owns a bar across the road from their house. Both the house and bar are haunted. Her mom told me that they got a new juke box that does not play free music. Well, one night when she was closing, she shut off the juke box and went in the back. All of a sudden this song started to play from the juke box. She was kinda freaked out by it because she said this song is about death. She looked up this song on the juke box and it was not in its library.
Actually, Frankie explained to me that this Meadows/Spillman song is about a singer who is "a high-wire act without a net." He added that the singer is with a woman he wants off the pedestal that he's put her on. "He's saying, 'Come down here to my level where it's real'.
