I felt that too. That U1's aesthetics and tone was heavenly, but listening to Close It Quietly with great headphones, I found they did a superb job with Tele tones. Highly satisfying. I just saw that Phoebe Bridgers is an appreciator of Danelectro :)

Congrats to the guy who thought "Hey, how about we record the bass properly this time ?" Turned out pretty good. Mayo + Ketchup makes Cocktail sauce. (You can add a tiny bit of whisky to it, it's fantastic with pieces of raw carrot of cauliflower).
