Frankie Fupa was an American bandleader. He released "Cowboys and Weeaboos" in 1957 at the height of a wave of anti-weeaboo sentiment that swept the United States following the introduction of manga (Japanese comic books) to the West. The record was removed from mainstream record stores after a campaign from the American Manga Council. This deeply offensive recording is presented here for historical and archival purposes.
LYRICS:
The house next door to me's been sold to weeaboos
They say they're Japanese from Tokyo
Oh, but they ain't a-foolin' me, they're Western people
We'll make cowboys and weebs our brand new show
At night when I come home, I'm warmly greeted
But not by my sweet wife, saying "Hello dear"
Instead it's "Konnichiwa, honored neighbor-san"
"Say, how do you like otaku livin' here"
I'd sell my house, but I ain't had no offers
Though I paid twenty thousand, I'd take two
'Cause this weeb crap's done killed all my red roses
And my cat's turned into Hello Kitty too
Last night the local manga club came callin'
I didn't know what it was all about
Oh, but it didn't take me long to understand them
When they said, "We're gonna help move you normies out"
