LJ Sneets as a legitimate 20 handicap I can confirm there is no fucking chance Frankie is even anywhere near an 8. I know what a 20 plays like because I am one and he ain’t far off
Zim and the Rocket lol. So funny cause it's true. Complain about traveling to Australia to golf. Complain about getting paid to golf all while lying about your handicap.
Trents gotten better man, look at his swing in recent vids vs earlier...Trent is a good guy man, he just plays golf for fun never gets pissed, knows he's bad, and doesn't try to act like he isnt...he'd be a fun guy to play with...
@@turdferguson2839 i mean regardless of him "cheating: hes way more consistent than lurch. dude just pumps his drives and irons and has no where close to the control riggs has. riggs by a million. especially with his putting.
he said his index was 8 something. On a normal course thats gonna be around that in the stroke handicap. You also have to take in to account the course they're on. One of the best players in the world was 5 over in two rounds..
Literally all of the Fore Play guys are like 4 or 5 handicap over what they claim they are and we never see them shoot their handicap, it's ridiculous.
Frankie almost made me stop watching this. He is definitely not an 8 handicap, and all he does is complain and make excuses. He needs to just enjoy the golf course and play the match.
Frank whined and complained more in a 40 minute video about playing a U.S. Open golf course than I ever will sitting at my desk job while waiting to go play my local, barely can tell the difference between rough & fairway, 9 (shit) hole municipal course. Blows my mind. Dude just enjoy where you are because almost all of us in the comments will never get to step foot on a course like that.
He'd play off about 15 at my club or any round here in the NW of England. I'm with you mate, he doesn't realise how lucky he is, playing golf for a living at all these top courses and all he does is bitch and moan!! Love to see him play in the pissing rain with a 30mph wind up his arse 320 days a year!! Hed give it up!!! If he enjoyed it he might play better?
I’m a scratch golfer. By God if I just manage to break 80 in those conditions, I will go to Vegas celebrate as if like I just clinched the f*cking open and got my first grand slam with borrowed money that I know I can never pay back.
There is no chance the Frankie is an 8; I think he meant 18. An 8 with no short game and that is erratic? Like an 8 should be flirting with 70's regularly; Frankie is struggling to break 90.
@@davidianson1182 You truly believe Riggs is a 6? And you've watched all the videos? ... Riggs is anxious to break 80 when he has the chance (or so he claims); a 6 handicap would be upset if they weren't breaking 80 regularly.
Frankie...bro. I hate to call you out, I don’t know how you’ve come up with your USGA HC index, but you are nowhere near an 8.4. Guys at 10 or below, aren’t having consistent ball striking issues. You’re only hurting yourself in these matches by conceding less shots
Even in tough conditions? I'm a 4.8 on the USGA HC index and was out in Hilton Head Island last weekend to play Harbour Town tipped out at 7100 yards and shot a 89. I shot a legitimate 96 at Ballybunion in Ireland when I was a 6 handicap. So yes, I'd say the course conditions can make all the difference in the world
HerzH97 Well, I would argue that Winged Foot in US Open conditions, are as difficult as conditions as you will find. So forget the fact he was easily breaking 100 today. I’m looking more at his ball contact. I didn’t see an single instance in this video of him compressing the ball, seems like most of his drives were missing the fairway by 50+ yards. Basic techniques that you would expect from a single digit HC. Lurch I would say is accurately stating his HC at being around 6-7. That seems about right. He was consistently striking his driver/irons, short game was ok, but overall that’s what you would expect from a solid golfer. Frankie on the other hand, strikes me as someone not being honest with himself about his golfing abilities. Riggs is probably around an 8-9 HC, and I’ve never seen him be challenged by Frankie in the other videos.
The "gimmies" they kept giving each other were like coin flips with their putting. That one on 8 was like a 6' gimme, lol. Like look at 31:48, he blows it like 5+' past and just picks it up casually.
Watching Frankie fold under pressure and have a complete meltdown is always my favorite. If he had just an ounce of confidence he could be stone cold out there
I used to work for the company that builds the scaffold towers for golf channel. So many people hit balls in/around/next to our towers and it was hilarious watching them
What is the point of the big fans on the greens? Are they there for the golfers or to pull some moisture out of the grass????? Something I have never seen before.
I'm a 16 handicap and would bet my entire net worth I beat Frankie straight up. Has an excuse for every course he plays at. I have never seen him shoot under 90 on this channel. Also why is he complaining about the handicap system? I hope he realizes the system is perfect lmao maybe his handicap isn't
yea thats your scale factor? Also if you play at a course you usually dont play at as a 16 handicap would go through the roof. Playing the same course over and over and getting dialed in make a huge difference then just going and playing new courses all the time. Frankie probably plays really well at his home course hence why they used a scale factor to figure out there handicap for this course.
Exactly! Guys that are 8 handicaps don’t worry about shooting over 100. I’m a 9.1 myself, and couldn’t tell you the last time i bladed a chip like that. Seriously
@@ljsneets7037 you would worry about breaking 100 on that course though. I'm not so much concerned about that. I'm more talking about the super inconsistent shots. No ways he's an 8
Tyler Theune i agree it’s a brutal course. I’m specifically looking at the contact of his irons, and NEVER compressing the ball or taking a divot. His wedge play he’s thinning it from clean lies, and lacks basic technique with the putter. 8 HC golfers don’t stab at the ball using their wrists. They use their shoulders and have basic tempo. I mean the guys literally shanking shots from the fairway Lurch on the other hand seems like he has his HC about right, which is why the margin of victory was so great. Ball don’t lie. Saying you’re an 8 means you’re 8 shots away from being a scratch. Frankie plays at least Bogey golf from the videos I’ve seen, which would put him in the 13-18 HC range.
I've watched enough of him playing and there is NO WAY he is an 8! His ball striking is ok at times but has zero short game. Seems like a solid 12 -14 Hcp.
lurch? not that good man. got distance but not much else. frankie shouldnt of been able to step foot on this course lol i agree he got shit pumped but riggs would bury lurch
I agree. Even Frankie was complaining about only getting 2 strokes... If he was really an 8 he wouldn't give a shit and agree that's fair. He basically admits he is nowhere near an 8.
So everybody complaining about there handicaps. They are using there scale factor which is then times by the slope at which tees they are playing then divided by 113 (usual difficult rating). Then you round to the nearest number. Honestly people that dont understand stuff should probably not comment.
This video would have been better if it was Ryan Whitney and Paul Bissonette playing against 2 former or current NHL players. They should make a series like that.
The amount of advertisements on this video is ridiculous, worst I’ve seen on any video ever. First time trying to watch fore play so hopefully it’s not the same in all of them
