You need to hit start again after choosing the number of players.

I havent noticed the fabric throwing it off, but I'm not skilled enough that I think I would notice. Target only seems to have them around Christmas. Have you checked Facebook marketplace? I've seen quite a few on there around me for less than retail with several being in box still.

That is a shame. I haven't had any trouble with mine. Does it just not turn on, or does it turn on and not behave correctly?

I've never really thought of rolling it that way. I honestly did not look to see if the instructions had any rules about how you must hold the ball. I will have to give that method a try the next time I play it.

I tried the backhanded roll today. It seems to work just fine, but I am less accurate that way. I suspect my lack of accuracy is down to my lack of skill with that method and not the game itself.

Merry Christmas! I had that problem with the balls coming through at one point. I think it was too tight at the bottom of the scoring area. If memory serves, it is velcrowed to the scoring area and can be loosened a bit. I hope you get it worked out.

Yes. The canvass near the Velcro is loose and hangs. A short distance away thé canvass is sewn to the bottom. At that juncture. Sorry to bother you on Christmas morning. The grandkids will be coming over in awhile and I have been trying to get the kinks worked out. Nothing earth shattering of course ..

@@jayzainey1185 no problem at all. My kids are off playing with their new toys, so im just sitting here messing with a new multifunction tool. Ill go take a look at mine.

After taking this thing apart and putting it back together, I no longer had problems with the balls getting stuck. There are the velcro straps holding the chute to the top of scoring area. I think adjusting those may help as mine was 100% better after I removed the scoring unit and put it back in.

@@HoldMyBeverage sorry for the slow response. Thanks again for the tips on ball return chute. We decided not to keep it and get the roll and score instead. It is a little smaller than I expected it to be, but still a massive improvement over the fabric one!

@@brianne_84 I'm glad you found something that is working for you.. I picked up a roll n score from Walmart they had on sale, and I've been quite pleased with it myself. I wonder if it is the one you got. Mine is the Barrington 84". I did a video review on it.

I hope she really enjoys it. To do two player, press the start button one time to turn it on. Now that it is on, press select. That will change between 1 and 2 player. After it says player 2, press start again. It will be the first player's turn. Have them throw their balls. Once their turn is complete, press start again for it to be the second player's turn.

I have sold this and replaced it with a wooden one that doesn't fold up. I think we had this one about 2 years before selling it. It held up well, but we were not rough with it, and it mostly stayed extended. I cannot say how well it holds up to folding it up daily or anything like that.

@@QUINDERELLAISH actually I do, and it really was quite affordable. You can find very similar units under $200 regularly. I got mine from Walmart, but they don't seem to have it right now. Hit start, then hit select until it says player 2, then press start again. Player one takes their turn, when it's over, hit start again and it will be player 2.

Hey T.J. there is another string of comments on here from someone else that is having similar trouble. You may want to check that out.

Try loosening the velcro straps that connect the return to the top of the score area. I have a video uploading now showing what I'm talking about. Check my channel in a couple minutes for it.

Try tightening the velcro straps as well, that worked for me

I’ve tightened the velcros - the balls are returning now for all except the bottom 10 pointer.

@@jayzainey1185 well thats getting closer. It's a bit odd though since all of them go through that same section.

Which problem are you referring to?

@@HoldMyBeverage with the scoring. Mine dont mess up at all I spend the last 3 hours playing it

@@aquinn3589 I'm glad you are not having that same issue. It may be a matter of finesse. I may just be throwing the balls too hard. I have actually modified mine since this video by filling the voids on the back of the scoring section with expanding foam. Since doing that, I have not had the phantom score issue. It also sounds way less hollow when the ball hits the plastic.

@@HoldMyBeverage that's good to hear that it's working now. Cause when I saw your video I was like he should not have to go thou that. We work way to hard for our money to buy something really high and it doesn't wanna work right. Glad it's working for u.

@@HoldMyBeverage is it battery operated or plug in power source?

@@pianistanimeher394 it is battery powered. I haven't had to replace the batteries yet, but I'm unsure how long they will last. I have a basketball hoop that is also battery powered, and those batteries have lasted over a year. I suspect this will be similar.

Just wanted to update you.. I had to replace the batteries today. So it lasted about 8 months on generic batteries with occasional play.

Didn't I call out the fact that it was giving ghost scores? Sorry if I didn't. I thought that was one of my complaints about this thing.

Can you elaborate on what is not the right size?
