Anyone who says this is a bad live performance obviously has no general taste in music and haven't seen that many bands perform live. This is one of the best performances I've seen of a song performed live compared to studio versions. Instrumentals are sharp and sound great. The vocals aren't entirely challenging, but still sung almost perfectly. Some people don't really understand how bad some artists are live. Go see Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas/Fergie etc. Now that's a bad performance.

Yet this is their most popular song. I agree to some extent as this is not their best song, but it is still excellent to people who have not heard of FF before.
The scary thing is, when this video was uploaded I was 10 and starting my final year of primary school and now I’m nearly 27 and a graphic designer. Reminds you how long RU-vid has been around.
Now I know why I like Euro Rock. They have 10x the bands we do in the US. US radio is awful and crowded with American Idol types. We are occasionally lucky to get some good live music here, such as: James Morrison, Dave Matthews, Razorlight, and the Beastie Boys.
Well, the most common assumption is that it's about the Austrian Archduke, Franz Ferdinand's assisination. It makes fairly enough sense with the lyrics. Peace.
Unfortunately not, they are going to be in Switzerland on the 24th then onto France, Italy, Holland, Germany than their last tour date for this year is in Mexico City on 10/13. I really want to see them again but I don't think it will be for a while. I spoke with Alex, he's so sweet, gorgeous & sexy, & they will be going into the studio next year working on their 4th album. At least the release of a new CD will tide us over till they go on tour again.
As much as I love this song, I think that it's one of their worst songs. Not worst as in bad, but as in "least best". They have so many other songs that blow this one out of the water. Love and Destroy, I'm Your Villain, Outsiders, 40 ft., Darts of Pleasure, Michael. All brilliant.
@michaelperry91 the song is interpreted in numerous ways. some say it's about a hopeless romantic, and others say it's about the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. either way it's a damn good song.
Wow, they rock! I remember the first time I heard this song, (too bad you all have to have a flashback with me) I heard it in an animation actually first lol. it was good, I miss the site, it closed down or something. A stick animation, it was. 5/5! He can still sing it pretty good. And they do make less mistakes.
