I believe your cameraman could have done a better job of showing the studio and concentrating on how the artist's canvas developed. Love this artist, not afraid to speak up and enjoy the company.
I've watched these 4 episodes - or rather skimmed through them in places. Fraser is a very likeable chap and he's an excellent artist. (See his website). However, I don't really see the point of this series. Fraser meets up with some accomplished and personable artists, but there's a lot of chat and not much painting / drawing. Ok, it's pleasant to see the localities and get a bit of background, but what I would like to see is more of the actual artistic practice. In this episode he and Malcolm Cudmore start painting on the water's edge, but it's hardly a paint off. We don't really see anything of the finished work and there's little talk about the techniques and processes. Splash of Paint on this channel was great. When will it return?
