Hi mate thinking about putting a 2inch body lift on my hilux but alot of people are tellimg me not to just wondering what you think of yours since you have had it for 1 year pros and con would be awesome Thanks Walrus
The Friendly Walrus hey mate, thanks for checking out the videos. I’m happy with the body lift I would say the only downside I’ve seen with it is that you have to get it engineered if you want it to be legal which is like $700 odd dollars. But apart from that I’m happy with and would do it again.
@@thefriendlywalrus2178 Sometimes you need to trim around the gearstick depending on how much movement you have it can hit on the body where the sticks come through from the top of the gearbox. I didn't end up needing to do that though but i left it in incase.
Top stuff mate loving the videos. I'm looking at fitting 33's to my n70 . Gonna get the caster wound forward to minimise cutting. Should I be looking at getting after market uca's or will stock ones be fine? Cheers
Thanks for checking out the videos mate, In regards to aftermarket UCA's you will get a better ride with them because they have caster correction built in and depending on the offset of your rims sometimes 33's can scrub on the factory UCA. Generally aftermarket are built to allow more droop before hitting the coil as well so more flex is possible with the right setup. So to answer your question, stock ones will most likely be fine but id consider aftermarket for better ride and performance.
