@@marysketch4772nope. Because Kelsey's character of Frasier rang through and it was beautiful to hear him so joyful to recognize the Freddie he knew! Frankly, for me, I would have preferred the older Freddie to show more of his Lilith and Frasier, " I got pills for everything. " self and maybe his girlfriend be more like down to earth Martin in her ways. I don't know for sure about that though. It would have to be tested. But, Freddie replying "but, of course, dad" in French for me... no. I just loved hearing Frasier's reply. That and, "oh my God, you must be wasted!" from the girl!
This is the best episode so far. I thought I wouldn't come around to David but they actually made him feel like a real character in this episode and not just a caricature
I can imagine Lilith reprimanding Frasier for enjoying Freddy’s drunken state listing off various health concerns and then Freddy intellectually agreeing with her and then she too would be as emotional as Frasier
I agree. Every episode of the New Frasier gets better and better. Freddie is acquiring such depth and personality. And l love his fire fighter buddies!,
I'm happier about David's personality. Freddie's been getting better over time but David felt too goofy and dumb but he finally became a real person this week
Finding Nemo lol. Freddie has become the star of the show in recent weeks. Especially the last scene where gives advice to David, it’s a wonderful tribute to the Frasier, Martin, Niles, Lilith, Daphne and Roz characters. I also absolutely loved the reactions of Eve and Tiny to his magic trick in the following scene with David and in the end credits 😂😂
You know I was thinking there will probably be an episode where we find out how he dropped out of Harvard, and it will be a good one. It's a real shame John Mahoney is no longer with us, that would have been amazing to watch, and a Guest Star Emmy win probably. I know that if someone stopped Frasier and Lilith from completely devouring his flesh over dropping out, it would have been Martin.
I was just thinking that. To me, Freddy is the star of Frasier. Kelsey Grammar's Frasier character seems to be lacking. Like he's not fully developed yet
It's because he spent a lot of time with Martin, who tried to treat Freddy like a regular kid/guy. So he probably picked up a lot of social skills from his grandpa who easily fit in wherever he went.
I am pleasantly surprised at how good this show is getting. The first 2-3 we’re kinda blah..except for some heart warming moments. It’s improving every week and I am excited. I hope they renew for a 2nd season.
Very cute nod to Season 10, Episode 6, "Star Mitzvah" when David remarked his first word was "dada" at an exhibit at the Met. Seems I recall that was Freddy's first word, as well. 😂
@@justablackbeanie5902Freddy's first word was Nomr, but they were at the DaDa and he uttered dada to which Fraiser thought he was referringh to the art. Lillkith said it was him calling Fraiser dad to which Fraiser became really disappointed.
I wish they had let Freddy finish his undergraduate degree before becoming a fireman. Being a fireman with a Harvard degree would be a unique turn for the character.
the casual appearances is what makes her scenes the best, as we aren't bored of her. Being on here and there is better, although I love her character, it is really a treat when she does appear. I remember watching the original Frasier and any time she would be on, I'd be really happy. @@rocky1942racoon
There could be two frederick cranes at the same time. However would the one child frederick martin crane be niles and daphnes son or niles and liliths son? We only know about frederick gaylord crane.
@@Garmichael1 - Why do you hope it gets canceled. Many people are enjoying it. If you stop comparing it to the first Frasier, it may get better. I didn't like the first episode, but I'm looking forward to each episode now. I'm glad they didn't just redo the old Frasier.
I haven't see an episode yet just clips of it as i don't have paramount here in Ireland but I watch the old episodes every day and it looks Absolutely Rubbish
