I am loving this DarkWolf. I've wanted a Conan figure for a while, and he fulfills that purpose. It looks great, can pose well, and has great accessories. So far I have lost one of the arrows.
My Darkwolf arrived this past weekend. I love it! Great detail on the sculpt. I’m actually thinking of buying a second one and making it into a custom Conan figure.
Im so glad you reviewed this figure. I bought this figure because i missed out on the two Mezco Conan releases. The figure looks great, and is from an IP that no other company is doing anything with. But at over $70, I expected better articulation and more accessories, IMO.
They’re doing a lot of good things here and I think they can definitely take some notes for their next planned release. It’s a little out of my budget, but it seems like a solid release. Really captures the look of the character!
Great review! I watched the creator do an overview of the figure, but actually seeing the figure alongside to your skintone really solidifies just how much they nailed a brown skinned figure!
Just unboxed mine Friday and am pretty thrilled by it. I’d love to see the price come down on the Frazetta Girls stuff as they make more figures and can produce more quantity. But this is an excellent start. And hell yeah that skin looks gorgeous. ✌🏾➕✊🏾
Got mine Friday and absolutely love it, Sadly my axe was broken in package but a dab of glue fixed it, I look forward to more releases from them and see where they go, Also amazing video D
Weak articulation for almost 100$ single joints not butterfly articulation not even enough accessories, definitely overpriced, amazing review as always 👍
@@keepitrealandtoastyit’s 2024 for almost 100$ this figure should move a lot better mezco Mafex storm C , SH figuarts even a marvel legend has better articulation
I love the character in Fire and Ice but was waiting on ordering until they were actually in stock. I am now on the waiting list. Agree the price is high but really like its appearance.
The product pictures really didn't do this figure justice. They all made him look small, weirdly proportioned, and stiff. But this won me over. I don't mind the elbows, but it's knees that kill me. The muscular sculpt is perfectly done for them to have gone double and hidden it especially compared to how nicely everything else is done. I could see the joint sliding right under the tear drop. Otherwise, I really like this. The price tag is rough though.
This dude looks amazing, but that price is tough to swallow. I'm waiting on the Savave Crucible Frazetta figures. Half the price as this guy, and they look better IMO. Not sure if they'll ever do Dark Wolf, but I'm okay with that.
I think for their first figure Frazetta girls did a fine job. Am I happy with the knees or no bicep swivel? No. But it’s a beautiful realization of a Frazetta character. Overall I’m happy with it and it’s a great companion piece for my Mezco Conan. I’m looking forward to their next figure.
Good review. Hopefully their sale volumes increase enough to where this can be a $50 figure. As beautiful as it is, couldn't see myself paying $70, let alone the current $95 price for this.
great review bro, Conan & cie stuff has flair def a cool fig I d have in my Cobra arena or master trainer for snow serpents, ha, ha tip ; you only need 4 figs to get the ark indy raiders, marion, sallah, toht, you can skip ceremonial belloq if you make your own transport rods now Cobra has the ark, can Cap America, punisher, and Joes stop them? inspired by you bro, I m currently working on a home dio, paint, cardboard, blocks of foam, I m going ancient temple ruin style for the ark and other scenes, picked static lion and bear at the $1 store for $4 each, 6' compatible, looks pretty good psa Hawk ; dreaming about dios does nt cut it kids! get off your assets and DO IT!!! so now you know... good show bro
That price though... It's good, but I could get 3 mythic legions for one of this guy (especially with the markup in my local). Still, that sculpt and articulation look excellent.
As others has mentioned it's overpriced for what you get, the single joints or the few accessories are not my biggest gripe, my figure got some paint born off when swiped the hands and some more flecked when I started to pose it around.
I really wanted this figure, but the price and reduced articulation was a turn off. Guess I’m being hypocritical because I got the loose collector red Sonja. Difference being I have a much stronger connection to Red Sonja.
It looks great, but SOOOOoo expensive. I can't handle $100 figs that are this bare bones. If I'm dropping that much it better come with his horse too. ha.
